A meeting with a Rose

The address given turned out to be in Land Park and further looking lead to a detached plain gablefront house in yellow brick, red roof tiles and the windows and doors as well as the fence and porch painted in white. Passing through the fence and over the white cobblestones leading through the small lawn some steps could be taken on the porch and upon ringing the door bell the door would open.

Inside the path lead through a small room with an iron wardrobe and wallpaper with white roses on blue to the living room where an oval wooden table stood and two places at it being prepared with notebooks and various writing implements. On the wall were the same 70s-wallpaper and some paintings, framed and under glass.

A bit surprised as she walks up to the house, having expected a café or some calm place to meet but not a private residence. Licking her purple lips, as purple eyes scans the building. Package under her arm as she ventures up to the door to ring the doorbell, wearing her cherished gift with its stars replaced by golden roses, along with a red top and simple stockings.

Walking inside with curious eyes scanning the little house, making sure to close the door behind her until reaching the arranged seating place.
"A charming little place you have here, thank you for having me." Placing the gift on the oval table, and taking up a notepad from her purse, flipping it a couple of pages with a little look at her notes. "Before I forget, I did take the opportunity to take a quick look upon some of Molière´s plays as well but have mainly focused on reading Shakespeare, sadly my time was not enough to get fully into both."

Al allowed himself the little fun of hiding in a small recess after opening the door.

"You're welcome, Miss Silvers."

Walking out of the small recess, he took his seat at the head of the table, dressed in the usual 'at-home' clothes (ash grey trousers, a white dress shirt with a purple tie, red slippers with floral silverwork embroidery and a red cardigan with the words of the four Purusuthas repeatedly embroidered in white). With a slight smile he offered her a seat.

"I see. Tell me, then: what have you read and what is your opinion on it..."

Looking thankfully at him as she sits down with a straight back.
"That is an interesting cardigan you are wearing, would you mind telling me about it?" Grabbing the heavy gift she had brought with a slight degree of effort to hand it over toward him. "First things first, I do not know if this is something you might already have in your possession but I hope it is something you shall enjoy."

Gift

A leatherbound copy the collected works of Shakespeare nearly 1400 pages thick.

"I have not read it in full but I did read parts of Les Femmes savantes or the learned ladies unless I am mistaken?" Looking down to her notes a bit with a slight hesitation. "It was interesting that much is true, the verse writing is a bit foreign for me though, not what I am used to read so took me a bit to get accustomed to it, especially under the circumstances. It is intriguing to read though, and it might have been interesting to witness performed. Especially as I find similarities to my own life within. It is clearly satirical, and comedically written by a bold man for his time, still it feels like until I fully finish it and do take a moment to gander the socio economical faucets of the time and place so does it hide many a secrets from me." Taking a moment to shift her thoughts. "I also made a look into L'école des femmes, which I did find easier to read and was quite interesting, even if those kinds of love tales are not generally my cup of tea so can I not deny the intrigue. Sadly I have only had time to take in aspects of it not the full play just yet." Turning her eyes up toward him. "Do you have a favorite play of his?"
