The Kipton Sawyer Hotel has been a landmark of Sacramento. It was centrally located in the downtown right by the Golden 1 Center, The Rose Gardens, The Covention Center, and even the Capitol Building.

Rebecca had rented out one of the Residences for the month to handle meetings with two specific individuals. Tonight was with Alicia Silvers LadySin .

The lighting was pleasant, and the view was spectacular. The Residences boasted a lavish living area, with floor to ceiling windows with enviable views of Sacramento's bussling downtown. The rich leather couches offered a comfortable and intimate sitting area, and on the little table was a board filled with bright red fruits and chocolate treats. A bottle of Dom Perignon was chilled with two glasses. Rebecca had picked a more tradiitonal champage glass. The round type you often found being used for champagne fountains. They were very popular during prohibition era.

Rebecca herself was dressed fashionably and formally. The clan of the Rose was almost more famous for beauty then they were for debauchery. Though many an argument could be made either way. Tonight Rebecca went as out there as she wanted. Only another Rose could truly appreciate the over the top gowns that were just plain fun to wear! She wore a multi colored fall inspo gown that was custom dyed for the season. Her hair was down and curled away from her face. Her makeup was light and her jewelry kept to a minimum. She wore one of those little diamond solitair necklaces that fell right in the hollow of her throat and shone like a captive star when it hit the light.

Rebecca had decided to meet with her cousin at Elliot Fouts gallery. The gallery was featuring Samantha Buller,'s paintings, and Rebecca paid handsomely so the roses could ogle the art in a private setting with no people for a few hours. The pieces were also for sale.

All else applies, except walking around a gallery instead of hanging out in a hotel

A frown upon her as she approaches the gallery with false life flushing through her veins, having expected them to meet at a hotel or somewhere at least semi private but this, this was both highly around people, around Kine. No semblance of actual privacy, no manner to openly talk and in the world of arts? Is the world trying to make me regress that much?

Walking inside with a smile of her purple lips to the Kine at the entrance, fully aware that her attire for the evening was perhaps not ideal for this new setting but last minute changes were hard to accommodate for when she was already on her way. At least her legs were properly covered up. And raven black hair styled in a decent manner.
Smiling as her purple eyes accompanied with radiant eye shadow lands upon her cousin and starting to walk up to her. Amethyst earrings and her silvery Amethyst bangle accompanied with dark gloves with the mark of a rose all put on clear display. Wearing a perfume with key notes of Lavender, pear, bergamot, coconut, praline, vanilla orchid, musk, it was one accompanied with Arianna Grande though which made it less appealing but you could not get everything and vanilla was a fun scent to carry.

Fidgeting with her wedding ring whilst fighting the beast within her at the stronger predator, throwing out her internal chains to cage it and make it go back into hiding.
"Good evening dear cousin, what for the sudden change of venue? I thought we would be meeting at the hotel not for an evening of art." Looking around the room. "Or is this perhaps just more your world?" Taking a light step back to get a better look upon the outfit of her cousin. "Such an enchanting outfit you have concocted for the night, but I fear that I may have gone for impress in a bit of a different manner." Letting out a soft chuckle but showing no signs of regretting her choice of attire. "Well at least the men will most likely not be ones to complain."

Turning her eyes around them to get a grip for the room whilst taking in a deep scent.
"So what plans do you have in store for us?"

Rebecca smiled when her cousin arrived. Taking in her outfit with a slow and careful eye. She enjoyed every second of the bewitching beauty before her. Indulging in gazing on her visage and her presence. Beautiful people and things were so very lovely to be in the presence of.

"Good evening cousin!" Rebecca gushed. "Oh, I am so sorry about that, but they overbooks the Residence I wished to use." She made a pouty face. "Luckily the art gallery agreed to accomate. They close early anyway, and this gave them an opportunity to make some cash off business hours." She found a large check could buy you a lot of good will and accomadation. This was no exception.

Just then an employee walked up from a car on the street. Apparently waiting on the pair to arrive. "Well hullo again Ms. Dawson! Everything is set just as you asked, and I will leave you and your guest to it! You have the gallery completely to yourselves for 3 hours! Enjoy!" He walked back to his car and drove away.

Rebecca grinned at Alicia, and opened the door for her to go inside. "We have the place completely to ourselves! I arranged just a little food and drink if you wanted to indulge a bit." She paused a momend and looked bashful a second. "I realize it may seem a little strange to offer food and drink, but I am afraid I am so used to such gestures, they are second nature." She also felt it helped the Masquerade to do such things. Once Alicia was inside she locked the door behind them. This allowed them to wander around and look at the art. "I think I am going to have some champagne myself!"

A bit taken aback by the sudden gushing, it was normal for the Kine, but her own blood? Now that was a rarer treat, especially from one so disarmingly gorgeous as her cousin.
"That is most regrettable but it does offer me an insight into you which I do appreciate." Looking toward the gallery. "I must admit that my guess would not have been for a venue such as this to be one where you would choose for our first meeting to be. Should I be flattered or concerned?" Letting out a soft harmonious laugh as she looks upon the man approaching them with a slightly surprised look. Ahh she is a wealthy one, that explains it, ohh well not a new avenue to walk.

Meeting the grin with a warm smile as she steps inside, enjoying the atmospheric setup albeit a bit curious if this would indeed put her in trouble.
"That is very considerate of you." Taking a step closer as she noticed the bashful look of her cousin, waiting for the door to lock behind them before stretching out her right hand towards the dress but stopping before actually reaching it. "My appetites are not truly for drinks and food I am afraid." Pulling back her hand with a playful look upon her. "Are the colors chosen to represent the season? If that is the case so have you truly chosen a splendant piece, one who plays into your natural blonde hair in a marvelous symphony of colors and shifts." Glancing down at her own attire and their wild contrasts, wondering what the man who handed her the keys might have thought with a soft chuckle.

Looking to the food.
"The gesture is sweet, and I should certainly not be ungrateful." Grabbing a glass of champagne herself as she looks around. "So what about this art speaks to you, why this particular venue of all available within this city? Ohh call me Alicia or cousin at will, I do admit it is just my middle name but my real name is well, not as sweet." Looking toward her eyes, letting them swipe over her cousins in a dastardly quick manner not leaving herself open to the dangers eye contact could indeed birth that easily. "Nor one to use around such lovely company as yourself." Standing still awaiting for Rebecca to take the initiative to show her around, this was the venue she choose of course she would allow her to guide it to some degree.

After being safely inside, they continued their conversation.


“It definitely made me scramble, but thankfully I happened upon this lovely little gem.” She chuckled softly and nodded to Alicia’s insights. “No, this is not typically where I would meet for the first time, but I have to admit, I think I like this new direction. We are surrounded by beauty here. Art is such an amazing expression.”


She nodded regarding the food and drink. “Don’t feel pressured regarding the libations and treats. It's more of a masquerade thing than anything else.” Habits die harder. “I try to make people feel welcome.” That was her wheelhouse. “I am not seductive, or sexy, or dangerous and exciting.” She met her cousin's eyes then. “I am the person you come to when you want to talk.”
She shined at the comment of her dress. “It is a nod to the season, yes.”


“The subject matter I find compelling, but it's the use of colour that is quite spectacular. I feel I am on the road, on the journey with the painter. Don’t expect some in-depth analysis, I am afraid my knowledge of art is limited to “Oh I like that!” and extremely famous works.”


Did she preen at the compliment? Absolutely.


“Now speaking of being a Cousin to talk to. Our Cousin Priscus Carmen told me that you were borrowing some space in her private haven, is that correct? Were you wanting some assistance getting your own place? I would be happy to offer my realtor if you need a guide regarding the real estate of Sacramento.” She smiled softly, taking a long sip of her champagne.

Glancing around the room, memories of her parents attempt to get her to see it flooding through her mind.
"So if not in this kind of avenue, where would one find you, what scenes do you enjoy?" Gesturing over the room. "If not at a scene like this, when traversing the city where might I expect to be fortunate enough to have my eyes rest upon thine splendor?"

Swirling her champagne glass, and taking another inhale of it.
"I appreciate the gesture, although do know." Smiling as she takes up a strawberry and two raspberries to dump into her glass with a teasing look upon her cousin. "To me family is the greatest treat, and calming factor there is. Nothing makes me feel more welcome than that." Or well our family, not my family. Finding herself lightly looking upward with an unexpected harmonious laughter. "Now that was the oddest and most obvious lie I have ever heard." Looking back down upon the woman. "We are seductive, we are sexy, we draw the allure of all who sees us by just existing. Skills or effort not something ones of our caliber needs." Want to talk? How many would willingly share much? "Masterfully done, a shame how it conceals your tattoos though."

Feeling a bit relieved at those words.
"I must admit that mine is roughly the same, my parents wanted me to learn it but my eyes got far more captivated by other things."

Careful eyes darting around them at the word, it was a light one but they were still at a space neither of them had control over who knows what secrets it might hold.
"She did share her abode with me yes, granting me the pleasure to see family very often, a thrill for the eyes" Softly grinning a bit. "Although I did warn her as I shall warn you, I am a flirt when surrounded by beauty and none is more beautiful than family." Swirling her glass with another light inhale of it´s scent. "That might be necessary yes, allow me to think it over and see how the night goes. What might you expect in return for such a favor?"

“I can be found in old gin joints and wine bars, and street festivals. I also like to garden, so gardens and orchards, garden shops and greenhouses, and I make my own wine and champagne.”


“My presence and looks lean more toward relaxation and letting loose inhibitions. I prefer to bring out the funner sides of others.” She grimaced for a moment. “When I try to dress in sexy clothes, I look like a little girl trying on her mother’s makeup and pearls.” It was an unfortunate side effect of her angelic looks. “I try to stay within my wheelhouse.”


“Don’t be afraid, cousin. It is empty here. We would hear kine if they came near enough to hear us.” She had paid handsomely for that privilege. She listened to what she had to say regarding their family and her current living situation. “I would not ask for anything in return, Alicia. Having you settled into your own haven is in all of our best interests. It is vital to the Masquerade and the strength of our clan.” She took another drink from her glass. Glancing at the contents for a moment. The bubbles of fine champagne were always incredible.

Taking a moment to eye her cousin, none of the answers one´s she had particularly counted on.
"You´re just full of surprises, something tells me that there is a long road of enjoyable new experiences ahead." Swirling her champagne glass with a light inhale of it´s scent. "Our attentions and interests seems to be at somewhat of an odds though, although I do admit that gardening is a skill that would be good to look into. What kind of wine and champagne do you make?"

Fascinating topic, and peculiar usage of her looks.
"Control of a social situation is a grand skill to possess, hard to master, harder still to utilize just right." Slowly shaking her head at the words, having a hard time to take such a sight in. "That might be how you feel, it is hard to imagine you not drawing the allure and looks of most people then again." Stepping in a bit closer with momentarily closed eyes, just letting herself take in the moment for a brief second. "I do admit that you have a calming effect emanating from you."

Slightly turning her head with a stern look.
"When the area is not under your control so is it always wise to be careful what words you might speak, you never know who might listen in." Stopping up to seemingly look at one of the paintings whilst taking in the words. "Would you kindly elaborate on that? The area we move within is limited, sharing our presence in a smaller area as long as we are not foolish is not a danger but rather look like two people working the same hours does it not? Spread out, grouped together both have their own paths to how you need to treat matters around you that is a given but the risk is not necessarily raised so what do you think put us in danger of it here?"
