Face brightens, “Oh, I speak French, I can take a look if you’re not able to find something you like.” Usually, her translations didn’t include sucks books, but she’d do it for a friend. “French would be a welcome break from Aramaic right now.” Easier too.

Nodding, “There’s a lot that needs to be done, a lot that has been pushed aside that should not have been. If you need some history of the area and way things have shifted over time, please give me a call.”

A glace to the vendors, “Those might prove a worthy challenge with translation, maybe I’ll see what I can pick up. Usually, I find myself with religious texts, but I’d welcome whatever texts I can find, I love a good challenge.” And languages had certainly given her that.

Smiling to Josh, “If they’re similar, then you’re welcome to browse some of the books I have if you like. It’s not a huge collection, but I’ve found it fun, sort of like a treasure hunt looking for books here and there.” Not something she would have ever found herself enjoying.

5 days since Phoenyx was up to post and 3 since Cavendish was up

The talk of fashion between them had reached a seemingly fairly natural end. He takes a pause to mull over Guru's words. "Yes I can see the benefit to that. First hand accounts, less air brushing? for lack of a better term of the stories and accounts." As for unsolved mysteries and the details that slip through the cracks or might otherwise have been purposefully omitted, well it was a solid plan as any. Better then my wondering about without a heading blindly hoping to stumble across something. "Well I hope you find something that might help solve a few of those mysteries." Before nodding in agreement. "Yes contextualisation is very important. And far to often over looked." The mentality of the ego centric world and its inability to empathise with those from other times so often a hinderance.

With regards to Aurora's own searches. "To that end how is your business card haul from today? Any stalls that look like given a bit more time and effort they could produce what your after?" Patience so often being key to acquisition after all. And a reliable resource in someone who can acquire and provide is never to be overlooked.

Phoneyx smiles at Chambers. "Perhaps it wasn't a legend that reached England. In 1971 D.B. Cooper threated a plane he was aboard with the claim that he had a bomb and demanded a significant amount of money. The plane took off, and Cooper leapt from the plane with the money. Too low for a parachute, but no-one ever found him or the money ever again." She shrugs. "Noone saw the bomb Cooper claims he had. He became the standard of grifters and con men for the next twenty years." She smiled at Guru, who clearly recognised the reference.

She shakes her head to Aurora. "It's an english translation, but I could show you the trader I bought it from? I beleive they had an original copy from the French."

[Cavendish]

It takes a moment for Cavendish parse through what was said. Even then..Lictors are Ladders. "I'm not to familiar with that exam however I'll look into it and do what I can." The Ladder can't help but chuckle at Guru's joke. "It is very much a learned skill, in that anyone can do it. Until then though, lots of feet in mouths ya." Cavendish looks across the book fair. "I do not miss those days, to much at least." Now its his turn to grin.

[Guru]

A warm smile given to Aurora as she offered to let him peruse her library. "Thanks, when I pick one I'll see where you recommend to start." It was easier to walk a path that had been tread already, unfortunately for Guru he still had to walk the path his way and make his own connections for it all to stick. Which lead to the journals which would allow him to make conclusions for himself based on limited information. The scavenger hunt fan nodded his agreement with Chamber. "Exactly. If I'm lucky I get a first hand account, if not I find a thread, a date, a time, a name." Time and Space would help tremendously but he had persistence to fall back on there. Pheonyx's story couldn't help but get a smile from the former criminal, she'd been absolutely on the money in her assessment. "Still known as one of the crimes of the century. The FBI still haven't let that one go either." Cavendish had a point, subtly calling him out at the same time. He was right though, it just wasn't a priority. From books to business cards, contacts to trade for merchants reluctant to eager with a hungry consumer base.
