Okay just a few things Delta:
When performing extended actions you can roll a number of times equal to the dice in your base pool (atrribute+skill) so for this task Witch can roll 5 times. (Intelligence+computer = 5) with 5 dice per roll.
If the first 5 rolls were not sufficient she could repeat the task with -1 penalty to each roll for repeating a failed action.
As stated in the plots thread each roll takes half an hour (hacking task) so rolling 13 times will take 7 and 1/2 hours hours before we consider breaks, resting and phone resets. so that shouldn't be to bad to do all in all.
I do appreciate I did not state this was an extended roll in the plot thread, that's my bad. But the rules for repeating failed actions would apply regardless.
Fortunately she succeeds in the first 5 rolls as the target for basic hacking is 5 suxx
Whoever this phone belonged to is clearly not big on personal security because Witch's list of common passwords proves its worth and within just a few hours witch has access to the phone and its contents.
Witch can use the rest of her day to make an extended Intelligence +academics, research roll to correlate the information on the device.
