Vincent felt the urgency to prepare for a journey through the ominous darkness that lay ahead. Knowing that tunnels awaited them, he understood the importance of illuminating their path and maintaining their bearings.

His first stop was a local sporting goods store, where he meticulously selected supplies. Road flares, large glowsticks, and tactical flashlights filled his basket, ensuring they would have the means to light their way. Additionally, he grabbed mylar blankets and 20 feet of climbing rope for added preparedness.

Eager to enhance his gear, Vincent proceeded to an army surplus store. There, he acquired a tactical vest, tactical fingerless gloves, and extra magazines and ammo for his pistol. MREs were added to his haul, ensuring sustenance during their venture into the unknown.

The final touches came from Walmart, where Vincent picked up a backpack, a duffel bag, a water bottle, and reflective tape. Methodically, he loaded his backpack with essentials – the rope, MREs, filled water bottle, reflective tape, mylar blanket, road flares, and glowsticks. The remaining items found their place in the duffel bag, a collective offering to his companions who would join him on this mysterious journey.
