Holding a hand up, “Whoa, wait a second, you suggested that and it was turned down?!” a shake of her head, “Cause I would have thrown money at that. Would be a great way to see if everyone can put their differences aside and just have fun. So many people forget how to just have fun.” Now she wanted a bouncy castle. How much were those? Do they deliver?
“I’ll have to take your word for it. But I’m going to try and get out among nature a bit more. So I’ll have to write that name down and check it out.” What was the worst that could happen? She hated it? Eh.
“Great!” hopping up, she grabs a menu from a drawer, which was pretty full of menus actually. Handing it over to him, “Whatever you want, it’s on me. And they deliver, so we can stay comfy.” Maybe someday she could learn to cook. Might be fun to cook for someone…someday.
“What do you do for work? Always figure it’s good to know what everyone does and all that.” She sucked at being a councilor. But she was trying. “Any big plans for moving to Sacramento?”
