Rail's question caught Crystal off guard once again - the pause was too long, the question was somewhat weird and he had expected this taxing meeting to be over now. "Huh. Uh." He played off his very real confusion by pouting and acting as if he was thinking very hard. Part of him wanted to throw Puck under the bus - but that was petty and it would imply that Rail's attention was something bad.
Which it surely wasn't.
Then he remembered something Corn had brought up in one of their last meetings. Something that might actually welcome some Guardian-approved scrutiny. "Why don't you give Corn a call? I'll leave it to you why exactly I've suggested him. Ah, what the hell: it's because you should get to experience the man belonging to the name first hand." And with that he'd give Rails Corn's number. Would the Moros approve of this? Eh, that was a toss up.
Either way, Crystal was sure that he would get an extensive run-down of any possible contact at the next opportunity.
Don't worry, that was an interesting question so it gets a pass
