"Buy low, sell high" is a motto for all merchants. Even gun runners. Circe had another adage to it: buy cheap, upgrade, and profit. Hence why she had so many of the dinky little Makarovs. Well some were, probably North Korean, knock off pistols.
Repeating her upgrade of the Soviet garbage pistols did make them sell better. Bigger clips for the guns were always a good seller for attracting buyers. They knock offs however needed new barrels. She wasn't surprised by that. She'd settle for the little ones first, probably easier.
Ext Mags
The elfin Fairest had managed to make # of ten round clips for the Soviet pistols. So that was an extra two shots before some noob had to fumble through a reload. That would let her sell the "real" pistols easily. The knock-offs were a work in progress.
First was going to her forge to make some barrels for them. Nothing pretty, just functional for this trash.
Forge barrels
Now that the parts were done, they had to be installed. But Circe was tired. Her fingers were sore from all the screwing, tightening, and everything else she'd had to do to to get her products ready for the black market. How long had she been doing this? 4 hours? Yes she'd take a break and get the barrels in tomorrow morning.
Morning work
Good thing she choose to start at 9 AM. Because she wasn't finished putting them in until 2 PM. These things had better sell well to make it worth her time to do this kind of thing. Even Brownie's Boon wasn't making much of a dent in the work. Shame she was insistent upon quality standards.
Circe wasn't going to start working 9 to 5, but this came close to that. Also, she was kind of hungry now.
