Maeve gets a good look at this David and she makes a bit of a gagging sound in her mind. "Eww he's too pretty. Like, look at that stupid chiseled jawline. And that slicked back hair. You can just tell he's a tool. And he's one of us? No way. Was he adopted from clan ventrue?" She pauses, a deep curiosity in her mind. "So what did the asshole do?"

Quinn grinned and chuckled. Understanding the comment for what it was, and did not press. She understood simply word of mouth flirting, and the reassuring look and waves of understanding coming from Quinn to Maeve let her know she would not press. And understood the boundaries. Even if they were not directly stated. She was a shadow.

"He is a monster. You ever see Gladiator? Remember Claudius and his Sister? It's like that."

The night was winding down and after paying for some lap dances, and purchasing a sucker that Qunn convinced one of the girls to put up her va jay jay as a souvenir, the Shadows called it a night.

Maeve nods with understanding, "Urgh. No kidding? Ass. What is that line from that musical? Eww I hate 'im." She can't help but chuckle a little bit, trying to bring a little levity.

Things went well with the rest of the night. It was a party of weird things, lap dances, lighting a single on fire for some trick on the stage with two girls and a drag queen. It was one of the better nights that Maeve had had in a long while. Plus, who doesn't enjoy watching someone get stuffed with a sucker? Wink wink.
