The old man picks up the vellum, but stops just short of handing it over to the Bloodbrute.
"Is that a yes?"
"It is." Spartan says and waits for the old man to take his hand.

The old man hands over the scroll after Spartan accepts the job.
"All right... get cracking."
And just like that, the man with the eye patch turns away to help another customer without so much as a backward glance at Spartan.
Luckily with Spartan, no backwards glance was needed. Spartan took the scroll and walked away, trying to find a quiet place to read through the Scroll and learn more about his target.

"Nice meeting you both," Grit says, holding out a sandy hand to both Wyatt and Terra before gesturing after Spartan. "I'd stick close to him, if I were you. He'll show you the way out."
With that, the Elemental gives them both a wink before moving to stand by the old man's side, watching his customer's closely.

As Spartan leads Terra and Wyatt safely out of Sal's Fleshmarket, he read the reddish-brown writing that has been inked onto the vellum.

Peering at the sketch, Spartan is positive that he's seen it before. It is the very same face as the strange reflections he fought in the house of the Bogeyman. With this grim realization, he leaves the Fleshmarket behind as he guides the other two changelings back to the mundane world.
