Cupid's Arrow's 3: Dinner Date

[Phoenyx]

Phoenyx looks down shyly at his complement, blushing deeply. "Shut up," is all the response she can muster.

She smiles at the offer. "Okay."

Heading over to the bar, Phoenyx orders and long Island Iced tea and an orange juice for Kaze. She looks at him, smiling. "I hope you don't mind. It's nice to be able do what I like. Feels Rebellious," the Arrow grins mischeviously.

[Kaze]

Kaze chuckles at Phoenyx's response, smiling.

When they head over to the bar, and Phoenyx orders for the both of them, he smiles, "Hey, it's cool you're asking me if I mind. I don't. Even if you know, a toxin cleanse wasn't an option, I'd have no problem taking you home in the truck with me. I'd like it, even." he says.

"I love to see you having fun. I don't think it's rebellious at all." he smiles. "I know what you meant though, I guess. I feel guilty when I'm doing something that's not 'productive', studying or training or developing a source." he says. "I'm get over that, though." he says, chuckling. "You're helping."

[Phoenyx]

"You should know by now you don't need to get me drunk to get lucky," Phoenyx says with a smile. "And that's it exactly." She sips her drink. "We're free to be our own masters now. Train ourselves. And we can be responsible, but we can have fun that w never could have before." She slides up the bar to Kaze and leans gently onto him.

[Kaze]

Kaze relaxes, letting Phoenyx's lean bring them into soft contact, and just feeling her warmth against him. He sighs, contentedly. Whatever thoughts he has, he's keeping to himself, or else just enjoying the moment without overthinking it.

[Phoenyx]

Phoenyx slips Kaze's arm around her. Looking up she gently tugs on the button of his shirt to pull him down - not so far as usual, given the heels - for kiss that lasts a few seconds. She straightens his jacket and takes her drink, sipping it and slipping into her own world.

For several minutes she just stands, drinking her cocktail, watching Kaze occasionally and smiling.

[Kaze]

"So...," Kaze says, softly. "That's dinner...and drinks...you want to...catch a movie or...something?" he asks casually, smiling.

[Phoenyx]

Phoenyx enjoys the flavours of her iced tea, watching Kaze with dark eyes. As the straw slurps at the bottom of the glass, she sets the drink on the bar and drapes her arms around his neck. "No. Not what I feel like right now," she says, looking up at him suggestively.

[Kaze]

Kaze smiles, "Well...when you told me where to meet, I did happen to find a nice place, a bed and breakfast down here in the city called, 'Amber House Inn' that's just three blocks away. I might have a reservation there...if you'd like to walk with me?" he says quietly, looking into her eyes.

Close? Fade to black? I'm game either way, thank you for the fun scene!

[Phoenyx]

Phoenyx smiles. "Oh? So you can be sneaky it seems..." She run a finger down his chest. "Lead on."

I'm happy to close it out there.
