Rust looks round and Breaks a wide grin. "Duncan!" It had been long time since he was last seen. Rust understood his position as a father.
"Join, us. Fu is going to tell us all about his personal Hell." The raised eyebrow he throws back at Fu is mischievious. "But really. Please, Something you know could help us."
Rook figured that at least Rust had listened to his suggestion. It seemed a pretty fool-proof way to prevent the political issues he'd been talking about, anyway. One of the advantages of the Wyrd, he supposed. There had to be one or two, after all. Couldn't all be negatives. He looked up as the newcomer came in and nodded.
"Hey. Name's Rook, pleased to meet you," he said for politeness' sake, then turned to listen to Fu.

Fu glances at Marcus for a moment then nods to Duncan as the snowman comes in. That had been a good day, a win for the freehold. "Heh alright" There's a grin.
"I went in after Tickle. He was a threat to our home and had to be stopped. Going in alone was stupid ya but eh." Stone shoulders shrug. "So I go in and the Hedge was pissed. Not normal Hedge pissed but seriously pissed. I get down the path a few turns and suddenly I hear something behind me. O no a hob, that'll give me something to do for a bit. Ya it wasn't no hob. I'm not sure what it was. It was covered in thorns, everywhere, could only see the eyes. I won that fight, then it's friends showed up. Ya suddenly I was back There fighting for Its pleasure. Had to get people to fighting me, it was pathetic."
"It never stopped, it kept going on and on. Fighting back there, under Its eye. Never feeling the sun, never getting to rest... Then you all found me." He looks confused for a moment. "In the Hedge still." Fu goes silent and just looks at everyone present.

A wide grin splits Marcus' shiny, metallic face. He walks over and grips Duncan's hand as he slaps him on the back.
"Duncan! Good to see you, mate. How's Lyle?"
Despite his great joy at seeing his friend, Marcus' expression soon turns more serious as he listens to Fu describe his ordeal. He quietly considers the stone dog's words for a moment before speaking.
"I'll talk to Rick Pereg. Maybe we can question Tickle and get some answers out of him. I really don't know what to make of all this."

Duncan grimaces warily at Rust Mane but not out of disrespect. No, instead its looking at the King, Rust had become and the powerful Mantle he now possessed. When Rook introduced himself, Duncan done the same with a smile, glad to look away from the intense Sovreign before grinning towards Fu and Marcus, two people he'd give anything to help out. Shaking the Constable's hand, Duncan gives a wink.
"Lyle's good, thanks, keeps asking when he can see his Uncle Marcus again. I tell him when he's old enough to drink."
However, his jovial attitude turns sour as he listens to Fu's story. A part of him wanted to join his fellow Summer's in this...whatever it was but then the other part, the much bigger part, of Duncan just wanted to stay out of it. At the end of the day, he already had one person to look after.

Rust takes his time to consider Fu's story, at mention of Rick and interrogating Tickle. "I would imagine he already has. See what he has learned and what he considers to be a suitable solution, Tell him I plan to make a concerted move As Summer begins." Rust turns back to Fu, thigs were so different then the time Rust saw Fu take a hit int he gut from that McDonalds Manager. He took a greater hit from the Hedge. Summer will punch back this time. "Fu, this thing you saw, the thing that attacked you. You say it was not a Hob, how do you know that?" Rust did not doubt Fu, but that piece seemed strange. Maybe something was using Tickle's action as a spring board to take over the Hedge, or Maybe Tickle had yet to tell the full story about what he was doing in his workshop.

"You know how hobs kind of look alike even when they don't?" Fu knows that makes complete sense...honestly...no not really. "It didn't feel like a hob, there were so many vines. Wrapped around it, hell it might have been Vines. It had eyes though, so I guess it was a something that wasn't just vines?" He doesn't sound too sure of himself though.

"It could be Fae, it could be something more then Just a nob. SOmething piled up out of the Hedge itself. We now know this is a coordinated effort by something. We know it is powerful. So no one goes into the Hedge alone, and if you find trouble, you run back and a report in."
Rust wears grim scowl as he turns to Marcus. "I name you Flame Warden(Constable and Hunter). In addition to your duties in keeping the Laws of the freehold, I need the skills you have learned from Sam to be put to action. Partner with Rick and Alice if you can. Be sure everyone understands the dangers of the Hedge and look for more gates within the Freehold's Borders. Like a firefighter fighting a wildfire. We need to know where a Hedge invasion might come from. Like the deal with the sewers."
Rust turns to Spartan. "I name you Hand of the Iron Vigil(Head Sentry and Iron Adjunct). I need you to stand guard over the Chosen Crown. Ask before you show up at her door. If she refuses you then you must accept her wishes and watch from afar. It is your duty to be sure the current Crown is safe, who ever that may be It is not a twenty four seven job as I know the Other Courts can stand guard over themselves. Just be there when you can so they will never be alone if Danger comes.
All Iron Sentries report to you, be sure they have what they need and are working along-side either you, Marcus or Xerxia. We'll talk latter of the details brother."
Rust shifts his gaze Xerxia. "You have done well as the Sun's Tongue. I need you do more as the Voice of Thunder(Sun's Tongue and Arrayer of Distant Thunder). Not only meet and counsel the other Courts in nicety, but examine their war strength, encourage them to be trained and prepared. And lastly, Act as my voice and my ear where you can. You and I will be in constant contact and we should know where each other is at all times."
"Lastly, Fu, Rook, and Faith. I name you three Iron Sentries(Sntry, Grunt). Coordinate with Marcus, Spartan, or Xerxia. Your choice, you will be thier right hand in what ever they do. Report regularly with SPartan and come to him if you have any difficulty"
Finally Rust turns to Duncan. "You, you are named Iron Sentry and your First priority is your home. Anything else is secondary, that is an order. Keep up with Spartan as any other Sentry."
"If you hit trouble, You text myself and Xerxia immediately. If it is a matter dealing within the Court regarding our Laws or a Break of Pledge, you Text Marcus as well. If you need to contact the Crown immediately. Text Spartan. I thought long and hard on this system. In this way The Summer Court is the fastest communication in the Freehold barring some frilly game of Spring." Rust adds the last as a joke, at least it seems like a joke. "I will announce these Titles at my Coronation and it is then Marcus, Spartan, and Xerxia: you should pledge yourselves to keep them for one year. You three have prooven your strengths this past year YOu earned your Titles." Rust tries to gauge his Courtiers reaction. "Sentries, prove yourselves through your skill and we can share some of the burdens placed on Marcus, Xerxia, and Spartan. If you seek now to take on such a task, or if you have a question, ask now."

Oh crap, was all Ducnan could think as he was named an Iron Sentry trying to keep his face from reacting.
Knew I shoulda stayed under that rock.

Marcus nods to his King as his Title(and amount of responsibility) is elevated.
