Rahyna pulled up to the hotel and sat for a moment before exiting her vehicle and handing her keys to the valet she was a bit nervous about attending this party and had spent a couple of hours deciding what it was she wanted to wear after finally making her decision she started going through her jewelry to find something that would mark her as dying light being that the outfit she decided on was not blue she fixed her sights on the sapphire set she had bought herself quite some time back but never had the chance to wear anywhere.
Smiling to the valet she made her way to the entrance of the hotel and made her way in as she stepped inside she immediately had a feeling of ‘Oh shit’ as she stumbled slightly when the bright light of what looked like the sun hit her. Once the realization of the illusion settled over her Rahyna regained her composure and headed further into the room intently looking at the scene before her.
She noticed Asa talking to a few people and figured she would go and pay her respects to the host of the evening as she walked across the room to where he was standing she smoothed out her dress. Once reaching him she gave a slight bow.
“Priscus Clark you have done a wonderful job with this evenings gathering it looks absolutely wonderful.” Rahyna raised her head and smiled sweetly at Asa.

Bella had decided to the party she would go. She didn't know if anyone else of the Sanctum would be attending and they needed some kind of representation.
Not having a damn clue with the hell ecru was supposed to be, she simply picked an outfit out of her wardrobe that was her style and decided it would have to do.
After arriving and making sure her weapons stayed in the car, she stepped into the tunnel leading to the main room.
As she pulled the curtain aside and the light hit her face, her beast took over. Turning around she fled right back down the tunnel and back out the front door. She had nearly reached the end of the long driveway before she regained herself. Stopping with a bit of a skid, she just stood there, taking in deep gulps of air.
It was not the sun. It was not the sun. Just a really really bright light that was warm. Come on Bella get a grip. It was not the sun! She told herself as she took a cigerette out of the pack with shaking hands.
She smoked the cigerette and the shaking slowly subsided. By the time she was done with the smoke, she was ready to try again.
She walked back into the hotel and slowly walked down that damn tunnel.
Asa is a total prick. Fucking Ventrue jackass. She thought angrily, as she gathered the courage to move the curtain aside.
Taking a page from Jason's book, she took a deep breath and moved the curtain.
Again, her beast screamed, kicked, and clawed at her inner mind to get away from the damn light. She shut the door on it. A twelve inch steel door. And stepped out onto the sand.
As she slowly moved through the room, she began to get more comfortable and started to regain her composure (what little there was left of it). She approached Asa, squinting in the light, as it hurt her eyes.
"Good evening Priscus. What a lovely event you have set up for the kindred of the city. I just wanted to say how beatiful it is in here. Thank you for this opportunity to get reacquainted with the sun."
She gave him a deep curtsy, then, with a smile, walked away.
Twist was both simultaneously excited for and dreading Asa’s Party. She had gotten a sneak peak of the décor a week or so back and it had all the makings for what should be a fun evening. But then the attacks had happened and so many kindred under one roof opened up dangerous possibilities for a city under attack. To deal with the confliction she first sharpened her knives and stashed a number of them in her vehicle. She would have liked to carry one on her person but the hotel was an acting Elysium so she didn’t- choosing to play by the rules. And then she did what most Daeva do…she primped and premed until it was time to leave.
Arriving at the hotel she tucked her mask into the glove box and handed over her keys to the valet, but not before noting the direction the line of cars where going. It did no good to have knives in her car if she didn’t know where the car was. She greeted Emma’s Priestesses somberly. It had not been enjoyable having to tell them of their loss. It was hard not to skip to through the dark switchback- she knew full well what awaited her. And even with the threat of attack hanging over the city she couldn’t help but loose some of her panic in the party atmosphere.
The wall of faux sunshine hit her face and she spared a second to remind her beast that it was all an illusion- not hard since it had already faced this once before, and then let herself surrender to the scenario for a second. She had never been to India, and nor did she ever plan to go but she would probably always link it with sunshine because of this shindig. She had taken full advantage of her prior knowledge and dressed fully to motif. Gold bangles reached to mid forearm, a chain looped from her upper ear to her lobe and then to her nose, an elaborate bindi rested between her eyes and the small gold bells on her right ankle chimed with every other step.
After enjoy the fake sunshine, Twist glanced around to see who had already arrived. She noted Asa being surrounded by compliment givers. She would say hello later- he was busy now. Instead she began to wander aimlessly around the room, simply enjoying the atmosphere.

O-Yama entered the party, he nearly screamed in fear and the artificial sunlight cast its light on his flesh. The stark white, and beigeish ecru of his kimono reflecting the light uncomfortably to his eyes. Oh, Asa, you must have a daiben-eating everytime one of us walks in. O-Yama shook away the beast, visibly calming himself by taking a deep breath. He then put on a winner's smile, and attempted to find the others that were on the burn team, they were the closest thing he had to allies tonight, the closest thing to what a kindred could call a friend. Seeing Sheriff Naetiff he began mingling through the crowd in an attempt to move towards her, and hopefully meet up with the others as he made his way to her.

Jason Andrews
Bells comes in.
Bells goes out, looking just a bit terrified.
And then, a few minutes later, she comes back. Just enough time to smoke a cigarette.
That's my girl.
Then I see her make her way over to the 'host', and it hits me:
It's fucking
bright in here. In fact, it looks like a sunny day, and Bells, being Mekhet, had reacted to it in the way any Mekhet would. Makes me also wonder if our 'host' has a irrational hatred of Shadows (or Asps, for that matter).
So I make my way over to her as she walks away, offering my 'sister' an arm.
"Had to call Justin because I had no idea what the fuck color Ecru was." It's said in a whisper, and I try to give her a smile in order to just make it a little easier to bear.
We wouldn't be staying long, that was a certainty. "You look nice."

Asa loved the effect. It was everything he had hoped it would be. And now the guests arrive. Squeezing Ishani's hand, he smiled at her, "You did tell me that you missed the day, once, you know..."
With the guests arriving, he signaled to one of the priestesses to let Paresh and the others know that the party was beginning. There were one or two lapses of entrances, he noted ruefully, as well as some unfamiliar faces. He had foregone having the guests announced for exactly this reason. No need to humiliate anyone.
Responding to the compliments with a warm, genuine smile, he knew that not all were sincere, but his thanks for them and the guests for coming was. Some, he noted, preferred to mingle or wander, and he gave the Seneschal a nod of acknowledgment when she looked at him. He was glad to see Kira, knowing that the sewer... incident... had hit her hard.
"Thank you all for coming," he said to those around him, "and I truly hope you enjoy yourselves."
Erika shuddered at the thought that he enjoyed this cruel prank. Surely he had to know the effects it would have on a large portion of the population? She stepped around, looking at the glass domed walls and shrugged a little...it was a great illusion though, however it was done. Her eyes glanced around at all the newcomers, and a slight smirk held at her lips for just a moment when the discordant Bella couldn't even hold herself together during the first attempt to enter the room.
Erika hoped that Icarus might show up, although that wasn't likely, from what she'd heard of him. She hadn't had time to stop by the hotel yet, and she was still looking forward to meeting him.
After leaving Asa, Scotts mingles her way over to the Sherrif.
She gives a bow "Thank you for eradicating the plant from my house. I wish that I had been blessed with a more capable physique, so that you would not have had to endager yourself and others. I also want you to know that the loss of the house to me was not of consequence, and I greatly appreciate what you did. Could you tell me how it all happened?"

Tammi Rose
Obfuscate 2 active
The Gangrel walked in and immediately noticed the decor. She frowned a bit before speaking mainly to herself. "The sun is just so last season."
A wave was given to the Sheriff as she sauntered past. She had chosen the pink little outfit she had seen Alicia Silverstone wear in Clueless mainly cause Alicia's character Cher knew style.
A white Coach bag over her shoulder she made her way towards the Seneschal. She had info that Twist just had to have. As if her presence here enough wasn't enough to warrant a conversation with the Seneschal. Walking up to her she curtsied politely before extending her hand.
"HI!!! I'm Tammi Rose, your the Seneschal right? That's just so cool! I mean I'm sure it's alot of work and all but it's just SOOO COOOOLLLL to be someone important like that. One day maybe I'll be an important person too. Anywaaaaysss, I just thought I'd come over and say like Hi and all cause I haven't had the pleasure of like meeting you before and you like are important and stuff. I love your dress. Where'd you get it? Mine's retro from the 90's and stuff it just rocks. I like yours too though. So like is there any other important people here? Considering it was a 4x4 with one driver and 3 men in the back, probably kindred due to their speed and aversion to the fire they were shooting, I doubt the Hierophant will be here though. What's with the decor? I mean why do bright sun on Friday the 13th? Why not like some guy in a Hockey mask like swinging a chainsaw. It's like definitely a Monet. Like I mean it's just so Whateva?
Her voice moved with the speed of a Celerity master, matched only by the speed of her hand gestures.

Ace arrives dramatically on his Ducati, tossing the keys at a baffled and rather bewildered valet. He growls at fellow kindred dressed up like they're going to a fucking ball, the punk in skin tight black jeans and his knee high creepers. His shirt is at least white, sleeves ripped off and frayed to show of his full sleeve tattoos, black suspenders and a black thin tie completing the look. In an attempt to at least acknowledge the theme he wears white leather cuff bracelets with handy spikes, his switchblades all obfuscated in a variety of places on his body. In an effort to be 'fancy' he puts his platinum lip rings in.
"Ugh...This ridiculous shitty political shit..." he grumbles to himself as he enters, heading down the tunnel.
Bella smiles back at Jason tightly, and slides her arm out of his grasp. "Give me a second." She says, heading for the tunnel again. "I need to get my sunglasses, this shit is giving me a migraine."
She leaves the building, finds her car and grabs the sunglasses out of the glove compartment.
When she comes back, her stride is much more fluid and confident. She walks back to Jason with a genuine smile.
"So much better. Now, anyone here we need to do the mingle dance with? And you are steaming tonight. Good thing you called Justin. I had no clue what the hell ecru was either, so I went for black." She says, shrugging.
