Ariana rose up from her seat with grace and etiquette and turned to Viscountess of Sacramento. Her voice was completely formal as if she was in one of the most important interviews of her undead life. She appeared poised, confident and completely professional as the words of honesty left her lips. Ariana’s hands were to her side and her body in a respectful pose.

“Good Judex Twist,” She bowed and curtsied more than she usually did and regained her pose. Ariana was very business like while looking to the Viscountess of Sacramento. “I come before the First Estate to complete what my sire, Lord Priscus Bainsworth a member of the Invictus in New York, worked with me to accomplish. My interests in the First Estate are mainly media related. Media and journalism are often influential. I would like to offer this service to the Invictus. In New York, I consulted with the Herald and Harpy who were also of the First Estate, they advised on what should be published. I believe I would be able to assist with media influence in Sacramento as well.”

Twist glanced to those of the Invictus with standing, "Do any wish to further question or have a reason to dismiss her petition to join?"

Asa watched with interest as the first candidate spoke; he'd seen her briefly at Court, but knew nothing else. Unfortunately her introductions hadn't included her Clan -- which was getting harder daily to simply eyeball.

It was with no small amusement that he wondered if word was getting out that Sacramento favored beautiful women..

Still, she was well-spoken and self-assured enough that he'd wager Ventrue, or a Dave who'd had an Au Pair.

Lady Dawes may soon find herself fighting for her rung, Title of Tribute or no.

She smiled ever so slightly when Twist handed over the questions to the others. She had one that could be taken many ways even in the asking so she chose to speak it. Clearing her voice softly and looking over to Arianna for a moment just to study her before asking it.

"You've told us what you can offer us. I think perhaps one to ask is just what you feel you can or should get in return Miss Donavon?"

Conner listened carefully to the words of those around him. He listened to Ms. Donavon giving her obvious answer, so predictable was the woman. Yes Ariana do tell... Conner thought to himself.

Ariana looks to the woman who spoke. Thankfully she had spent enough time putting a face to name. “Lady Dawes, I seek to be educated of the matters of the First Estate on the proper use of power and influence to thus rise to the top of my chosen profession. The First Estate understands the most of our Kindred Society. This is what I wish to master and I believe only the Invictus truly understands this.”

She raised an eyebrow for a moment and tilted her head ever so slightly. Her tongue running over her bottom lip for the barest moment but she keeps the thought to herself.

"Well then. It sounds like you plan on staying with us a very long time. Perhaps with the permission of others here we can talk after the meeting and get you started on one or two of those goals."

As if on cue, or if she'd heard his thoughts, Cassandra spoke.

Asa listened to the exchange, glancing over at Victoria for a few moments, then to Twist. Under different circumstances, he might have actually smiled in amusement; instead, he simply let a flicker of the humor show in his eyes.

Whether the Daeva was questioning Victoria's judgment, or immediately asserting her seniority, it was hard to say.

Or maybe she wants to be the first to fuck her. That's generally what she seems to mean when she refers to 'talking later'.

Twist saw Asa glance her way and then the flash of humor and fought to match his decorum. It was hard enough as is being so formal, to have him reveal his humor... her lips twitched and she shifted to hide it.

"If there are no other questions?" Twist paused glancing around before turning to Conner "And why do you seek to be one of the First Estate."

As the diminutive but deadly Daeva speaks Conner listens. Conner sees the captivating eyes of the Good Judex turn to him as she calls upon him
When she asked the question Conner stood, “Good Judex Twist,” As Conner says her title he bows a most respectful bow is to the Good Judex and Prince Clarke, Conner’s head nearly touched the table top. The Prince was in attendance and would be honored and shown respect whether he was of the First Estate or not.

“I stand before you by the grace and kindness of Lady Seneschal Stamford. It is my hope and my wish to join the First Estate because this Covenant represents the best of Kindred Society. The Invictus embody excellence and are truly unconquerable."

"My desire is to learn from you. I wish to be honored for my accomplishments and disciplined for my failures. With that discipline will come education. I wish to be taught what it truly means to be kindred and become that which the First Estate has represented for countless decades.”
