Sized 13 1/2 .... Rockport shoes???? .... made little noise as their owner stepped into the main court room at Avalon. The large Gangrel offered a respectful half bow to the Prince if Prince Clarke's gaze fell upon him but the Savage Whip was looking for someone else tonight, and it wasn't a drop dead sexy Russian Kindred. Okay maybe in a bit but for now he looks at the corners of the room, looking for a Shadow. Finding his target sitting next to his ever present ghoul.

The Gangrel Whip moves towards the man he remembers from New York as Conner Greyson. They'd met in passing once or twice, yet Ajax had heard a few things about the man's skill and wouldn't have minded working with him on something, but well things happened and he'd never gotten a chance to learn more about the Shadow. Big Evil had thought the Hunt on him had been bullshit and the poor guy had just caught a bad break, something that could have easily happened to himself. He liked the fact that Greyson had made it out of the city in one piece and that he seemed to be doing well for himself here in Sacramento.
Ajax invites himself to sit down opposite the Shadow and smiles. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a ten dollar bill which he puts on the table between the two kindred. "I owe you ten bucks. Some fool bet me a solid hundred that they'd get you, I took the bet and I guess I owe you ten percent for your part in things."

Chris was a bit surprised by what Max had said, though he appreciated it. He said low and slow 'Thank you.'
Then he saw Martha coming back. He didn't think it was necessary to let her clean him up. He was not a child anymore, well, for human understanding at least. Although he was a bit ashamed to let this all happen in court, he might offend the Keeper by rejecting her offer to help. Meanwhile, Chris thinks about what Max had said. Enjoy the view? Well, perhaps he did wanted to be cleaned up by Martha.
After a little while, if nothing else is said, Chris lays his hand upon Martha's and the cloth. 'Thanks again, Keeper Villiers, I really appreciate your help. Now if you'll excuse me, I will clean myself up futher in the wash room. Perhaps I meet you again later this evening.' And with a small bow to both Martha and Max, he walked to the wash room.
Conner watched as the Gangrel moved to approach him. Conner did recognize the man. His memory of him was slim, they had met in passing but, something about this Gangrel was a worthy of note in the encyclopedia of Conner's mind. Conner's ghoul stiffened for a moment before relaxing again. As the Gangrel spoke Conner, for a moment, was wary. Wondering if the Gangrel was sent after him. But the Gangrel were not friends of the establishment in New York, So Conner doubted it.
"Thank you." Conner said taking the ten and handing it Cheyenne. "How does Sacramento find you Mr. Ajax?" Conner asked.
"It has it's charms. Although I never thought I'd be in a city with a basketball team worst than the Knicks." He smiles at the joke, partly to assure the corner loving Shadow that he was alright and partly because it was the truth. The Kings were pretty damn awful. "Things were always rather stuffy back East so I decided to see how the world was out here." He nodded towards the Ghoul "Your own assistant and Hound for a Regent, looks like you've landed on your feet."
Having been in and out of the Senechal's office, and now carrying the sheets of paper the Senechal gave me, I look around to see if anyone new has arrived.
And just as he looks over, sees Arianna leave. "Ah, there's my queue. I'll be back in a short moment." Then Jacob stands and heads toward the Senechal's office.
After a short while, Jacob wanders back over and rejoins Katrina, now holding the papers given to him by the Senechal. "Well, that wasn't as long as I expected. I was half suspecting it to take more."
