In a quiet voice Thomas begins to explain the events of a few minutes before. "Priscus Von Schusten a few minutes ago Mr. Greyson approached me and asked me, in my role as Clan Whip, for a meeting with yourself. He informed me that he and yourself did not always see eye to eye but that he wished to put those issues to rest."

"Has he now...how interesting." The wheels can almost be seen turning inside his head. Given how adamant Conner had been in opposition to him, during the Bloodhunt of all times, this was hardly expected. Was it genuine, had Conner come to believe that Culler was a sinking ship? Given where he had just been, did Victoria have a hand in this? Or had he simply begun to ascribe to the belief that it was best to keep your enemies close? "Did he give any reason for this sudden change of heart?"

"He did not give the reason why he might have changed his mind on the subject. He only asked me in my role as Whip to speak with you about a meeting to settle the differences between the two of you." If Thomas has known Greyson better he might have been tempted to venture a guess on the man's motive, he probably would not have offered that opinion but the temptation would still have been there. Still it wasn't good for Clan Unity for the Hound of the Domain whose Regent offered the Clan hunting rights to so publicly feud with the Shadow Priscus, as Whip he now actually had to take stock of such issues.
Asta smiles as Amos pulls out a chair for her and then listens to his words taking in the information carefully and acknowledging it all with simple nods her eyebrow over her left eye twitches ever so slightly at the mention of brood but the rest of her face remains a polite smile.
"I have come to Sacramento to expand, I suppose is the best way to put it. Originally I was in a small town where it was only me and my sire and my sire didnt live long, poor man had a rather nasty accident with a chemistry set. Never the less after some time the size of the town was just too small so I headed for the nearest city of size that I knew of and that was Sacramento."

Martha watches and listens very attentively...she seems utterly enthralled as Cassandra tells of her career. Rubbing at her lame knee as Cassandra talks of the dresses and costumes. Nodding in gleeful, bright eyed, agreement as fun is mentioned. Smiles and rubs at her lame thigh as she hears of the detective films and supporting roles...Martha is so attentive she seems slightly disappointed that Cassandra has finished speaking. Once more the small creature claps her hands in sincere glee: "Oh my! What an exciting time! Yes! I can see how you would be so very lovely and marvellous in those roles!" grips at her stiff knee as she leans close, as if to merrily confide to Cassandra, "I do enjoy watching theatrical amusements! I wonder: maybe we...you and I that is, ma'am, may seek out and try to join a local theatrical group? Or even start our own group? Mother would never have approved of my pursuing a career on the stage...but...and here you are: an actress of the screen and motion pictures! Ah...but, well: thank you for telling me of your career, miss! I should wish to hear more of it too! I dare say there are many tales to tell on future evenings!" Martha giggles happily.

"Well I will certainly talk to him." And Court, where he could not really pull anything was as good a reason as any to do so. "Though, there is something I would like to speak to Prince Clarke about first."

"Shall I inform Mr. Greyson that you have accepted his offer to meet here at Court when you have a free moment ?" Thomas felt the question might be unnecessary but he was still new to his position and getting a feeling for the role. He didn't want to step on any toes during his first while on the job.

*Ciara sets down, a thin hand dismissing the woman's concerns.* You have nothing to apologize for, Ms Scherbotsky. I had guessed you were uncomfortable, though I was wrong about why. I'd actually like to thank you for turning down the offer if you were near losing control. I don't want to think what would have happened if you had lost yourself in the middle of the stage...
It sounds as if you've found a more stable residence and feeding situation since then. I'm glad to hear it, both for your safety and the safety of the Masquerade. Should you need further assistance, let me know; the Movement allows me certain advantages in those areas.
*Her normal smile returns, the Ventrue thinking of other possibilities as well.* As I said, do not trouble yourself any longer with concerns about appearing rude. You weren't the only one that night to turn down my advances, seems it just wasn't my night.
But, if at sometime in the future when you're well fed and rested you would like to take me up on the offer, it remains open. I'm sure something can be arranged; in a more private setting of course...

The offer took him ever so slightly by surprise, even given the circumstances. "If you do not mind, yes, that would be very helpful. Thank you. Though, do not feel as though you need to act as my secretary. I would not expect, or ask, that of you."
