"Very much acceptable Miss Donovan." He considers for a second holding his arm to properly escort the female Lord but wonders if it might be too formal for a Kindred he's just met or if the woman would be insulted by the offer. After the second is up he decides to offer the arm, just enough that only she can see it and chose to accept it or not.

Regardless of how they walk there Thomas leads the Ventrue to the area near the Offices were the Laws of the Domain and Regency map were located. Along the way he notices Conner Greyson, Regent Brady's Hound, leave the Seneschal's Office and move off to the side of court and gives hims a nod. Thomas politely returns the nod with one of his own that shows an openness to the approach of his clan mate as Thomas and the attractive Lord reach the wall of Laws.

Ariana observes Thomas’ interaction with the person who had just walked by. She accepts Thomas’ arm. A man with etiquette, beautiful, she thinks to herself. For a moment, she glances in his direction with a inquisitive smile. “Mr. O’Connor, what would you like to know?”

"Well you mentioned that you were a journalist, might I inquire what subjects you cover for your paper?" He wondered about the fate of a seemingly random encounter with an attractive woman who shared one of his interests. It was a rather interesting occurrence.

Conner accepts the invitation and as he approaches he feels a familiar Creature in his wake. A creature he has not felt in over a year. Conner's face immediately becomes one of Scrutiny. As he makes line of sight he sees a Charismatic smile he recognizes as well. It is a Smile he has not seen since his time in New York. Before the Hunt. He wanted to walk over to her and say, Hello Lovely, and then cut her head off. But that would be both inappropriate and immature. Well that and Conner was not armed.

"Good Evening Whip O'Connor. Good Evening Ms. Donovan." Conner said. "Welcome to Sacramento..."

“Well Mr. O’Connor, in New York I worked for the New York Daily News. I was assigned the Nightlife columns. I went to Broadway premiers, restaurant openings, clubs and many other factors that make up such columns.” Ariana momentarily hesitated with the next piece of information, but she had nothing to hide. “My sire was the Ventrue Priscus who assigned me to assist New York’s Harpy and Herald. Since obviously some affairs were bound to hit the media, I helped to filter it by working closely with them. It was very stressful at times, but alas, I did it with grace.” She laughed suddenly. “It also gave me no personal life, and at the time I did not mind.”

As she finished the last sentence she realized she knew the presence of the one who just walked by. She looked to his face and was astonished. This was quickly written upon her eyes as she heard her name. Finally something familiar she thinks. Still addressing formally in public, as she always does. “Mr. Grey, I thought perhaps I would not see you again. Of course, I also did not think I would find anyone I knew…all the way on the other coast.”

Many memories began flooding in, a few regrets too, but she let those slip for now. She hoped that her eyes did not give her away.

Thomas nods at her words and was about to bring but the fact that he knew a few people in the media of the city but was interrupted by Conner Greyson. He'd invited the man over and had been planing to politely introduce the Hound of Citrus Heights to the new arrival so he could speak on topic of Regencies in the Domain. However the development of Miss Donovan and Hound Greyson's previous acquaintanceship had placed any plans to explain Subinfeudation on the back burner. "I would introduce you two to each other but from the looks of this situation I believe that you've met before." What did she call him "Grey"?

Conner's ghoul stiffened for a moment and then relaxed.

"Yes Whip O'Connor, I spent some time in New York before my return to Prince Clarke's domain. Ms. Donovan was an acquaintance of mine there." Conner said as his eyes flickered back and forth between the other Mekhet and the Ventrue Reporter.

"If I may Whip O'Connor I do have a request if you have a moment?" Conner says.

"I'm sorry Miss Donovan will you please excuse me for just a moment." He smiles at the attractive Lord and baring any protest from the woman will walk lead Conner a few feet away to protect the privacy of the conversation. Well at least make the best effort possible. "How may I be of service Hound Greyson?"

"Thank you Sir, Ma'am." Conner gives a head nod to both of them

"Whip O'Connor, If you would be kind enough to act as a mediator for me I would like a meeting with the Priscus of our Family. As you are aware he and I do not always see Eye to Eye and I would like to put that behind us."

Conner's ghoul gets a satisfied look on her face but for only just a moment.

Ariana let the gentleman speak. She attempted to busy herself by looking over the wall of Laws. She did not listen in, her mind was preoccupied with memories. She wondered if Connor was pleased to see her or not. His expression gave her somewhat of an indication to the latter. She remembers they were going to meet one night, and he never showed up. She really hoped that he did not blame her for what happened. She herself had nothing to do with it. Ariana wished that they could reacquaint themselves and regain their friendship… but she was always cautious of Connor.
