Thomas quietly made his way over to towards the Keeper and stood on the against the wall. He gives Martha a half smile, "Assisting with the transition of another new addition to the city?"

Ajax knew that their was an unfamiliar beast was in the room but seeing as how the guy was content to stay off in the corner to wait for The Prince or Seneschal, his own monster was alright with the man's decision. However after the guy spoke with Martha he began to approach the group and Big Evil's beast began to want break the new arrival into a thousand little, tiny pieces. However he knows that would probably be a bad idea and might end up ripping his nice new shirt, plus it was Court and a Kindred should always be prepared to meet unfamiliar beasts in a Court setting.

Sit he gives the guy the once over, an old bodyguard habit that he had been unable to shake. Not that he wanted to, it was a good habit to have. He had about 4 1/2 inches and the weight advantage on the guy, which didn't mean much as far as Kindred were concerned. The guy was small, lean, wiry, with a hungry look, probably a nasty and dirty fighter. Still Ajax was confident he could take a guy if he made a move against Jillian or Katrina and thus relaxed a bit. He nodded a greeting to the newcomer and waited for Jillian to reply to his question, all the while wondering why the smell of New Jersey began to drift into his nose.

Martha nods to Thomas...a small smile, she closes her notebook and replaces it in her satchel, giving her full attention to Thomas; "Yes...yes, sir...at least, I hope so."

She hooks her cane under an arm and gestures to Thomas as if silently indicating she wishes to check on the stump of his arm...a gentle gesture that seems honestly meant, her hands open, ready to receive the injured limb... "I see you are still wounded, sir...is there anything further I can do to help, sir?"

Thomas allows Martha to inspect the wound, at least for about half a minute, then puts the hand less arm off to his side again. "It'll regenerate eventually, I just need a bit of patience. The Prince has allowed me to hunt in his territory's rack for three months so I can make a speedier recovery." When he speaks of The Prince's gesture there is a bit admiration in his voice, seems he's genuinely thankful for The Prince's thoughtfulness. "Amos and I were given the right to claim tenancy in his Domain for our part in the investigation and the fight at the Bypass. I have a lot of respect for the man, reminds me of some of the better commanders from back in the War." Something clicks and his face takes on the expression of remembering a fact almost forgotten. "If you offer of assistance is still on the table I do need an extra hand with something."

Martha is very tender with his wound. She inspects it for injury and infection and even, if he allows, silently massages the stump with great care and attention. As Thomas talks, she listens, nodding by way of reply. "But, of course, sir! I am every ready to help you, sir!"

"I need a hand cleaning my Colt .45. It really saved my skin out at the Bypass but I can't clean it with just one hand. I was wondering if you would like to meet some night and assist me." Truth was he'd probably be in Torpor or eaten by those ghoul things if it wasn't for that .45 and thus the gun needed to be properly treated regardless of how much he hated to ask for help.

Martha frowns briefly, not from the request but rather the pondering of its details, she nods...happily replying, "But, goodness me, of course, sir! Cleaning it for you would bring me great joy! I am ready to help you when you are ready to accept my company, sir! Hmmm...Is it the famous Colt revolver you have, sir...or the...well...the other one...?" she pauses, blinks and tries to carefully mime with her agile hands the size and shape of the 1911 handgun.

"Yes the M1911A1. As for a time and date, whenever you are free from your duties here at Court." He was a little shocked about her apparent knowledge of firearms, from how she dressed and carried herself he would have never guessed that she was familiar with the either the Civil War era Colt or the Colt M1911 series whose shape she had made with her hands. One always had to be ready to be surprised by Martha.

Martha giggles merrily; "You needn't be so shocked, sir...the ubiquity of those weapons made an impression upon even my mind - and diminishes the requirement for expertise or specialist knowledge to identify them! The fame of Colt extends to England!" another happy, even playful, giggle, "Regardless, sir...helping you would be an honour and joy...I shall make time to do this at the earliest opportunity! I should even welcome your guidance and insight into the weapon and how to clean it. I should hate, sir, in some paradox, to do more harm to your instrument of war than good!" another happy smile...and a hard rub of her lame thigh.

Amos came later that night. He had taken the oppportunity to look for suitable places to make a haven in the Prince's Domain, now that he had tenancy rights there. It would take some time before this would be complete but that was ok. When you're immortal, time's a commodities that you have in spades.

He walks towards the kindred presents, and will give those presents a friendly hello but will let them start the conversation, if they so desire.

Amos is also on the lookout for new faces as it seemed that the town attracted new vampires on a very regular basis.

Tiny Martha, who remained at her post at the foot of The Stairs, nodded respectfully to Amos as he made his way by her to join the greater number of Kindred within. Smiling meekly, more to herself than anyone elese, she gathers a cheap cell 'phone from her shouldered satchel and, with an apologetic shrug to Thomas, begins to text carefully, explaining to him..."Goodness me, sir...I do apologise...but, I do need to send this...I'd be negligent if I did not! Please do excuse me..." as she, with wide eyes, texts away...Upon completion of the text, she smiles meekly to Thomas. Rubs very hard at her lame thigh and hip.
