Corbin stands waiting on the loading dock that was used to supply the Four Season. He didn't have a working watch, so he could only assume it was around the time that everyone who had gone to the boarding house had agreed upon. It had been some nights ago and he still couldn't figure out how everything was supposed to fit together. He considered himself fairly intellegent and skilled at reasoning but none of what he'd seen (or lack there of) made much sense.

John arrived in his usual outfit. It occured to him that he should ask one of the sovereigns for a job or at least some form of compensation for what he had been doing. Investigating crap and keeping an eye on places like the boarding house was time consuming. Plus he was sure he had spent the last of him money just for a sandwich this morning.
It took him a few seconds, but he managed to spot Corbin. It was mildly annoying to see someone that didn't stick out much. "Hello Corbin."

"Hey, John. You want to head in now or wait? You have the time?" Corbin seemed a little out of it, still pulling himself out of the mental solitude he'd been in.
|

"Always better to get things done now then later. Navaja said she needed to get some stuff done, so its unlikely that she will be finished anytime soon." John said with his hands shoved firmly into his pockets.
|
|
|
|
|

|
"Alright, whatever." It was nice not to have to wait. He went went into the hotel and headed towards the kitchen. He stood waiting on its outskirts of the cooking area. A couple people passed without noticing him, even with verbal encouragement. At last he got an employees attention.
"Hey, is Vivian around? We needed to talk to her really fast."

John followed Corbin in. He always felt out of place in the kitchens. He wish someone would hurry up and answer his question and at least be around others.

The kitchen is fairly empty this early in the morning, and they find it a little odd that people came in from the loading docks who weren't staff at the hospital.
"She's not in yet."[/color]

[color:08df=999999]"Alright, thanks." Corbin said with sincerity. He didn't mean it.
"Does she come in for the mornings or not till the lunch and dinner rushes?" the man looked suspicious and Corbin wasn't sure he should be pressing for information but it went for it anyway. He'd make up something if the man started asking questions.</font>

John stood there with his arms crossed. He wasn't much of a people person and left the talking to Corbin.

~Narration~
"She usually prefers for strangers to make appointments with her office and not just walk into the hotel like they work here."
The kitchen staff go about business as usual.
