Taylor nods in agreement with Sean. He was right, if they started a big ruckus in here there could be hell to pay. "Yeah, let's just hang around here and see if he makes an appearance."

Looking back out unto the dance floor, Taylor is content just watching the crowd. However, after a few seconds of observation he/she thinks he/she sees someone familiar -- Arnoud, from the Carthian Meeting eariler that week. Between the large crowd and how fast they are moving, Taylor can't tell if it's him or not. [URL="http://nwod.org/forum/showthread.php?p=6926#post6926"]He considers shooting Arnoud a text message, then realizes he doesn't have Arn's contact information.

((OOC: There are probably some positive modifiers for the crowd size, distance, dress, etc. but DD isn't currently online so this'll do this time to keep the show moving. I probably should've asked for the modifiers on entering the scene. Still, getting the hang of this lurking thing so suck it, Arn!))

Aimée sincerely hoped that Samael would show himself tonight - this fetish-stuff was nice the first or even second time, but by now it honestly bored her already. The thought of another nearly wasted night - even considering the many to follow in her immortal unlife - made her cringe.
"Do you know if there's any other way in? Windows or a chimney?" The last part was a joke, but Aimée spoke without humor in her voice, as if she was having a headache.

Narration:

As Aimee asks her question, the lights dim and the music fades, until within a few seconds the entire club is dark, the only noises those of the patrons. Several cheer, a few whistle. while others murmur in anticipation.

[Sean]

Sean suddenly perks up.

"This is it. Samael's coming out." He hisses in a loud whisper.

[Yawgmoth]

Taylor's attention is drawn toward the same area of the club where Samael appeared last time. He/she quietly whispers to Sean, "Here's where the magic happens..."

[Rosyn]

Lori's ability to enhance her sight quickly adjusts her eyes as the lights dim and now she sees the club just as clearly as though it was lighted. Her chest heaves with deep breaths and she sounds vaguely like an animal snuffling in the dark to those closest to her - smelling the air for any changes.

Now that the music's down she allows her blood to enhance her hearing as well, making it fairly easy to tune in to individual conversations in the crowd or sounds around the club.

Narration:

As she enhances her hearing, for just a moment Lori is overwhelmed by the sound of so many excited heartbeats in one area, and the sussurus of whispers is grating. As she adjusts, she is able to take in whispered conversations, as well as the sighs of those engaging in amorous activity under cloak of darkness. "I wonder what he'll do tonight."

"Will he pick someone tonight? Maybe more than one?"

"Oh, yeah, that feels good, baby."

"Man, I wish I knew what happened up there."

"Hey, get your hand off my tit, asshole!"

Since Sean told Lori about Samael's appearance the last time he'd been at Club Inferno, Lori knew to watch the rail of the upper level, and with her enhanced senses, she observes something very interesting indeed.

As she watches, she sees a sworl of ... something - shadows, or worms, or entrails, or maybe a mix of all of the above - appear out of thin air, quickly grow and shift form, coalescing into the figure of a man...a Caucasian man with curly, dark, collar-length hair, dressed in a black suit, shiny black shoes and black gloves. At the same time she sees him appear, Lori briefly catches a whiff of a complex, unpleasant mix of odors... mingled sexual fluids, tears and old blood.

Where the magic happens indeed...

With the lights off, Taylor decides that he'd rather be the center of attention than Samael way up on his balcony. He/she couldn't see jack-shit, which meant all of these people around him couldn't either. When the lights inevitably came on, Taylor McCoy intended to have the attention rather than Samael. Granted, it wouldn't be the same type of attention...

He/she speaks just loud enough for Sean, Aimee, and Lori to hear. "Forgive me for this guys..."

That was all the warning they needed.

[Arnoud Giessen]

Arnoud, unfamiliar with this part of Club Inferno's schedule, is greatly displeased. He distances himself more from Taylor and company, pushing against bodies and slipping past them. He doesn't panic as everyone else seems to have expected this and settles for cursing his indiscretion. Arnoud didn't want to catch the eye.
