Grrface walked in to the Empty Orchestra, approaching the bar and ordering a beer. It was crowded tonight, like most nights. A man in a cowboy hat and an older woman in a tube top were assaulting the room with their drunken karaoke stylings. Meat Loaf's 'Paradise by the Dashboard Light.'
He had been bored sitting at home, and had decided a beer or two would be a good thing. Anyway, who knows who he might meet?
Grrface knocks back the rest of his beer and signals to the bartender for another. He looks over, noticing the other changeling. He smiles at the Fairest, revealing large canines poking out from beneath his lips. The voice of his mien is deep, growly, and grumbly. "Hey, man. What's happenin?"' The Bartender arrives with his beer, meanwhile Grrface turns to Pryderi and puts out a large furry black paw for a handshake. "The name's Grrface." He pronounces the name with an actual growl.
He nurses his beer for a few moments until Pryderi nudges him. He looks over in the direction of the stage and a deep, slow laugh rumbles out of his chest. He takes some big swigs of his beer, finishing it despite it being nearly full. He looks back at Pryderi, a toothy grin is on his face. "Sure, why not?"
Roselynn doesn't get out much during the other months, but it was Spring again! And she was as lively as possible for the season.
She steps into the Empty Orchestra, and settles her big frame down on a bar stool, ordering a light drink with a blue tinge to it, and watching the usual karaoke antics.
Grrfaces moves towards the stage, his movements throughout the crowded bar seeming somewhat lumbering combined with a certain surefootedness. He takes the mic from the last person up and, after a short conversation with the man running the machine, walks on stage and waits in front of the screen for the music to start. People Are Strange by The Doors. Grrface's singing voice is loud, deep, and somewhat gruff. Nothing like Jim Morrison.
"...People are strange when you're a stranger,
Faces look ugly when you're alone.
Women seem wicked when you're unwanted,
Streets are uneven when you're down.
When you're strange
Faces come out of the rain.
When you're strange
No one remembers your name
When you're strange..."
Pryderi smiles as Grrface opens up on stage and turns to the big girl to take a seat. "Hey there, you having a go next," he says, face friendly and honest.
