The apartment was quiet as Aurelie lay in her deathly slumber, the day halfway through. Darren had slept for a few hours but his first encounter with other Kindred had left him shaken, especially with regard to the Prince. Darren had never felt such power in a voice, such command of a situation. His orders had left the Ghoul confused but only because of his lack of understanding. In the following hours, Darren had thought further on it and couldn't help but be slightly enamoured by the Prince and the way he controlled the situation completely and utterly. Darren understood the concept, his work bringing him into conflicts with club-go'ers on a regular basis. It was down to his comprehension of the situation and the emotions involved that allows the doorman to dominate in that domain. This, however, was new territory. To survive, he would have to learn more, and judging by the emotions tumbling through the scene he pulled Aura from, rather quickly indeed.
