Snow has lost track of the spirits but continues pushing herself in the direction of the others. She howls out ahead to Keys who she knows was just a bit ahead to make sure she's still headed in the right direction. Keys will let her know where they are headed so she can follow.

With rough and unfamiliar terrain taking their tole on the pack's movement, Keys yips an answering call to her alpha and encouragement to Johnny and Wukong, running the middle ground between them and the rest of the pack. Her call also serves to let the two in the lead know that the rest of the pack is on its way.

As Johnny is passed by both Keys and Wukong, he is once again reminded that his decision to take the Urhan form, rather than Urshul, was a mistake. He had gone for stealth over speed, underestimated the quickness of his prey, and he was going to feel it in his muscles come morning. It hardly mattered now, though. He couldn't keep up this pace while shifting to Urshul, so he just kept on running with his pack as the spirits disappeared from his view. Johnny did not diminish his effort, but now he was chasing Keys and Wukong.

Narration.
After several more minutes of chasing, the spirits run across the water, save one, who turns and holds out his hand in a sign of peace.
"I speak this to you wolves. You had the opportunity to make allies, instead you have made enemies. Know this."
The form discorporates just before Breakers' and Bodycounts' claws and teeth touch him.
