Triquetra hummed softly to herself as she glanced about the hall, until noting the telltale glimmer of a ley hanging in the air. Well, perhaps a bit stronger than a glimmer, but whatever. She wasn't trying to describe it to anybody. "I see one." She paused briefly, glancing towards Animus, "We think the stone's going to be in one of the rooms it runs through?"

Tech had a name now, and though the man might not be anything, a name can lead to some very interesting answers. Especially if you asked the people everyone forgets about, the ones that clean up other peoples shit. The housekeeping staff. "Lets see if were lucky enough to find someone we can talk to." he says to Ari, content to ward off the common social-awkwardness of the Silent Elevator Ride. He wills reality at the barest of ends, subtley moving the threads of Fate as softly as he was able. Sadly, High Speech wasnt very conducive to conversation, so he had to get it out of the way now, quietly whispering words that felt like they were dissolving into nothingness even as Ari heard them.

Animus nods briefly after making sure none of the hotel guests are too close. Even so, he keeps his voice to a bare whisper. "Right. 322, 326, and 331 are occupied, so we'd best leave them alone for now. Can any of you deal with the electronic locks? Maybe we can check one of the empty rooms."

Triquetra idly tapped one finger repeatedly against her cheek, considering their dilemna. "Hmm...you can't pick them." Which, she supposed, was the reason they had become so widely used in hotels. But in a hotel, it was rarely the locks that were the weakest link when it came to security. "If we don't have any supernal methods we could always swipe a key off a maid. And if that doesn't work...I could probably bluff my way into one. But I doubt I could do that twice."
Same elevator is fine. Keep in mind that means you're a few feet behind the other group.
As for the member of staff, there is the house-cleaning trolley next to an open room, which implies someone cleaning inside. Or is Technique looking elsewhere?

"Nah, I've got this," Joshua says as he takes another look up and down the hall. Animus had mentioned the occupied rooms but hadn't said which ones needed to be targeted; with questioning looks, small gestures, nods, and raised brows, Joshua soon finds himself in front of the door to room 320. He closes his eyes, inhales deeply through his nose, and exhales. It's been a long time since he's had to use this rote technique and the Moros isn't entirely sure he'll remember it.
He needn't have worried; it's like riding a bike or disassembling an M-16 for cleaning. You never forget. Fingers come together like a circuit, only to quickly withdraw and break the connection. He pictures the wire buried behind the wallpaper and drywall, the flow of electricity within slowing to a trickle and then becoming as dry as a riverbed in the desert. A hand reaches out to touch the card-reader, and he pushes the image through his hand and into the wall, willing the wire to forget how to hold its charge.

What ever Tech felt like using wasn't vulgar as far as Ariadne can tell so she waits quietly to see what happens. Blue eyes look over at the others down the down one hallway, then the other hallway. The cleaning staff could be a problem if things were to go south or could be compromised and a problem from the start. So many possible ways for things to go wrong.
Lips purse as she waits to see what Tech is up too.
An important note
After a few steps guided by Fate lead Technique to a corner in the hallway. A few steps off, he can see a second trolley. How is this different from the first one? The housecleaning associated with it is currently shuttling her cargo of cleaning supplies between rooms. Which might give Technique a few seconds to interrupt the petite woman before she opens the next room on her route.
At the concentration of Joshua's will, the flow of artificial fire coursing through the wall slows, then stops. The small red light on the door turns off, and a 'clunk' makes itself heard somewhere inside the lock.
