The wind changes and with it comes the distant howling of a horde, just out of sight. General Etalon turns to looks through the morning gloom and seems to shiver, goosebumps spreading across his bare chest.
"I hear war," is all he whispers. He looks to Al-Adin, holding the banner of Sacramento. "Zpread the word, Flower Courier. Formationz to get tight. We march zoon."

Al-Adin is off in a flashing burst of speed, holding the banner high and he runs to every commander, quickly calling to them "Get Tight! March Soon!"

The units of Sacramento's army square up, forming tight as Al rushes between them. Catapults are winched into place and loaded. Overhead, gliders stream forward. Underground....well, that's any one's guess.
And then, a rumble.
The ground shakes. In the distance, a horde can be heard.
Spartan is ready and looks to the General to call the charge.

Marcus stands next to Spartan as he awaits the coming storm. A warm glow suffuses the shining skin of the Metalflesh as he listens to the approaching horde. He has a feeling he will need all the luck he can get.

Al-Adin continues his run, waiting for the next order.

In the distance, the horde can be seen. It stretches wide across the Hedge glade, an endless tide of hobs, all under the control of the Storm, whipped forward by the Avatar commanders.
The ground shakes as Etalon's voice echoes across the army.
"Forward!" he cries, striding outwards himself, at the lead. Every step and his metal hooves kick up mud and petals. The General begins to jog. "Flower Courier! The Banner! Ignite the banner on my call!"
The Silent Defender of the Crown of Fury says nothing, His Mantle burns, the intensity only rivaled by the surface of the sun, but his face remains calm. A mask of pure nothingness. He jogs along His Spear held out before him ready to pierce into the first enemy he comes across.

Al-Adin grabs a nearby torch, ready to ignite the banner. He is hesitant around the fire, but holds the banner tall.
