It was packed as expected. People just can't get enough of their caffeine fix. Ariadne was one of them too, on her second cup already despite having been there for only ten minutes. She glares at the murky brown liquid in the cup putting all of the blame on it.

"Hey!" Apparently Triquetra didn't need any coffee to be bright and alert in the morning. What a wonderful thing it was to be young and full of energy. In fact she seemed one of those individuals that just seemed to be a bit too energetic during the mornings, the kind that grated on everyone who still had the misfortune to be groggy.
Which she probably found amusing.
Slipping into the seat next to her fellow Guardian, Triquetra glanced about the shop. Her eyes bright and alert as she waited for Josh's arrival.

Joshua enters the coffee store and glances around, giving the two Guardians a nod and heading over. Sometimes these places have something good playing overhead; no such luck today, some odd "world music" beating out of the speakers. Not his style.
"Ladies."

Technique followed behind Josh, not knowing who to look for but staying on edge. He said they were about to roll on some people, some apparently lethal people, and he wanted to make sure that if whoever it was showed up wanting trouble, hed be able to spot them. Felix says nothing when they make it to the table.

Triquetra looked up as she heard Joshua's voice, swiveling around until she caught sight of the Arrow. Only to find herself caught by surprise as she noticed the other man following along behind him. Especially since she didn't see the glow of active spells on him. Surely he wasn't bringing a Sleeper along with them, but what kind of Mage wouldn't get any spells set up for something like this. Unless he cloaked them? "Hey Josh...who's your friend?"

Ariadne takes a quiet sip of her coffee as Triquetra asks the question on her mind as well. A test maybe? But by who? A new mage? Why would they send a new mage on a task like this? A sleeper?, that's against the rules. Half tired eyes droop a bit in what would be an almost accusing look between the two men which instead comes across as a tired look, the yawn that follows doesn't help.

Ariadne's phone going off for the second time gets her attention. Pulling it out she reads the first message, and gives Joshua an "opps" glance. She taps the phone lightly to the side of her head while doing so. Looking at the second message she leans forward and types out a response faster than most adults but falling vastly short of the techno-addicted teenagers of the current age.

Several minutes pass before Animus arrives, looking a bit worn down as seemed to be the case almost constantly lately. A slight surprise blooms as he spots Triquetra with the group. Then again, I already gave a narrow view of what constitutes helping. But who was the other person?
Putting the question aside for now, he walks up to the group and takes a seat. "What's the situation so far?" A brief brief pause, and he glances toward Technique. "I don't believe we've met?"

The Hierarch has arrived. That is... unexpected. Joshua turns slightly to include him as he tells the women, "This is Technique, he's a co-worker of mine who is new to town. I thought if maybe you didn't mind we could bring him along on your operation." He stresses the last two words slightly, with an aside glance at Animus--see how I'm not breaking your rule?

Ariadne leans forward in her chair. "Good to meet you Tech." Sorry guy that name sounds too off for public. She looks from Tech and Joshua to Animus; "we're all here now so we can plan. You know a way to narrow the project's scope?"
