West waited until the silence became uncomfortable.
Although pretty... supermodel pretty... the woman might have been a deaf mute, or this was some prank that he didn't 'get'. He glanced briefly at Nela for a clue as ot which, but she seemed to be expecting some response as well.
Whatever.
Maybe he was finally hitting 'the wall' and didn't understand 'kids' anymore.
He still felt twenty.
He certainly still found twenty year old women attractive. Well, those that spoke, or weren't mentally challenged.
Then again... time is the most inviolable...
Setting the empty glass back down on the bar, he shrugged and left.
Tyler waited a few more minutes before standing, as he stood he looked around the packed club and enjoyed the song for a moment. Feeling the beast inside rumble, Tyler headed for the door and into the dark night of Sacremento.

"Is this a Boy's Party or can the Lady come along?" Jillian asked Max and Charlie

Nela stands frozen in her friend's stupor. The silence lasts for a painful moment, and when the man turns and strips it away it's like duct tape pulled off your scalp.
"What was that!" Nela tries not to shriek. "I thought you wanted to meet people?"
The thought that she might have overstepped Kathleen's comfort zone has not occurred to her. But something's going down that changing the vibe of the club, and the evening is starting to peel dangerously towards the late third.
And you know what the late third is like... desperation and last calls. No thank you.

Charlie shrugs "I don't have a problem with it if Max is okay with it." he says.
We'll see where her loyalties lie if it's with me or Maxie here.

Time to wrap this scene up tomorrow night. If Charlie, Max, and Jillian want to have a longer chat, they can start a new one for such, or do a chat scene and post it here
