The instant Michael's body goes limp in his grasp Arnold easily hoists the torpid Kindred onto his shoulder. He strides quickly to where his truck was parked, tossing Michael into the backseat. Then he runs back to where his axe lay on the road, picked it up, and quickly returned to the truck - getting in and driving away from the oncoming sirens.
