Joseph and Jillian awake from their day-slumber as the Sacramento sun fades over the horizon, faced with the task of quickening Charlie Barrett's corpse, which remains, to the best of their knowledge, at Joseph's haven. In their possession are two pairs of handcuffs and several strong leather belts.
Jillian comes out of the bathroom in a black tank top and a black pair of boy shorts. She had slept in the bathtub with a blanket over her and the door closed. She didn't concern herself with Joseph seeing her in her underwear. Her Blue, black, and blond hair was messy but she wasn't again she wasn't concerned. She walked over to the dresser and pulled her hair up into a high bun. She stuck a couple of chopsticks through her hair and pulled on a pair of jeans and a pair of heavy boots.
"Joe you awake?" Jill says not looking for the Ventrue.

Joseph stands to a crouch and kinks his neck, it looks rather predatory as he moves. "O" he says with a moment of thought. "What does the Brood guy look like? I've been part of a run in with some kindred who might be Brood." Joseph had slept in his clothes, he smooths them down as he talks. Doing his best not to openly eye Jillian in only her underwear. He rises from the crouch and smooths out the last of his clothes.
"Big Dude, Scandinavian sounding, pale with long hair." Jillian says, "Come on now lets get going, my Priscus is still a burrito."
And I can't challenge him if he is rolled up and waiting to get bagged...
"So where we gonna get someone to eat." She said as she finished tying the laces on her boot.
"Great Idea, Pancakes. Come on Joey lets get us something to eat. We will get some takeout for Charlie." Jillian said as she finished dressing and grabbed her backpack and headed for the door. "I know this fantastic little diner I ate at when I first got here. Blonde hair, very cute dimples. Delicious. Lets go yo."

Joseph agrees and together, the pair travel to a diner in the only place they are allowed to hunt- the Barrens. Sylvia's boasts a night-time crowd of young hoodlums and their girlfriends, but does enough business to afford to pay a couple officers to moonlight as security. Two versus many aren't good odds, they know, so they take the money and hope that the hassle of the city's police force is enough to dissuade would-be murderers. The mood, in other words, is tense. The flourescent lighting is dull, to keep people from looking too closely at their food, their silverware, and each other. The term 'greasy spoon' doesn't do this place justice. Its like they've never even heard of a dishwasher. The cute blonde Jillian remembers isn't on duty, either. An elderly woman with an odd gait, probably some kind of hip problem, escorts the pair to a table. They stick out like a sore thumb here, their very presence upsetting the delicate equilibrium.
"Maybe this wasn't such a good idea..." Jillian said thinking she would only be able to take out a few before blood lust took over. "There, that woman, she looks like she is settling up and getting ready to leave. When she leaves we do." Jillian says quietly to her partner.

She is, and she does. But not alone. Her boyfriend returns from the bathroom and they walk out together. The waitress makes her way back over and asks if they're ready to order.
"Nevermind hon, Lost my apatite." Jillian said as she stood and followed the two walking to go orders out of the door.
Once they are outside and a good distance away from the door Jillian says, "Hey asshole, your bitch better keep her eyes off my man..."Initiative 12
