"It has been quiet, my dears," Gianna says as she looks beyond the two changelings. "Tell me, have you seen Dr. Carlton? I was under the impression he was accompanying you."

With a frown Bert shakes his head and his anxiety begins to rise. he had forgotten all about the Doc. Shit and he didn't recall seeing him when they got back.
"No he never showed did he NEla?" he says turning to her and back to Gianna. "I had assumed he stayed here at the station. You mean he isn't here either?"
This wasn't good, first he lost Kateryn, now Jack?
"He is not. I watched him leave to assist you both." Gianna's eyes glance to Nela, more importantly her hand and the object she held.
"Would it be possible, my dears, to try and make contact with him? At least with that phone, it is not traceable to anyone here."
Oh crap. They are going to get in trouble for this. Nela looks to Bert before plugging in the Doc's number from her phone to Sam Goldstein's. "Of course, Gianna. I'm on it."
Ring, ring.
"Oh," Ha! Nela laughs. "That's dumb of me. You're probably blocking the signal, right Gianna? I'll just have to go outside to call."
Ouuuuuuuu... uncomfortable. Is Doctor Jack dead? He's dead isn't he?
"Um, maybe the phone's messed up. Lemme check something." Nela dials 411 and waits for the call to go through.
OOC
As she waits for the call to connect, Nela looks around at her surroundings.
She is inside a Hollow.
Most, if not all, cell companies have yet to set up signal strengths this side of the world.
