Hunting the healer

While the pair are off checking around the building, Gwen makes sure Rob is all right, checking vital signs and so on to make sure the spirit's possession hasn't had adverse effects. Or obvious ones at least. Here's hoping he doesn't remember what he was.

When the others come back, and Vincent makes his 'report', such as it is, Gwen nods, numbly. "All right. He can't stay all ghost-like for long, so we'll get him another time." She hoists up Rob, debating where to carry him. "At least it has to start the possession all over again. We'll come back in the nights to come, find it again. We'll bring a book of law next time." Which is probably one of the most cryptic things she's said in a while.

"Come on, let's get him somewhere safe, then it's back home." A part of her starts thinking on exactly how to handle 'Rob'. It would be lying to say she didn't have a few ideas. But she would reserve those for when the pack was ready.

Gwen can't find anything wrong with Rob, physically at least. He simply seems to be unconscious. Perhaps due to the trauma of having another consciousness so insidiously entwined with is departing so suddenly. She's heard that being ridden by a spirit tends to have lasting mental affects of some sort, but she simply has no way of determining Rob's mental state at the moment.

So the question is, where does she want to bring him to recover?

Jeremiah follows Vincent back to Gwen silently.

Hunt over, no hunt, prey gone, no prey.

He shakes his head as his form grows smaller back to Hishu. "Is this guy going to be completely messed up in the head after being controlled like that?" Jeremiah doesn't have the slightest idea what being controlled would be like nor does he plan to ever find out. "Better question, will he know he was taken?" That would make things...complicated.

Vinny gets an arm under Rob to help Gwen, cigarette dangling from his mouth. At Jeremiah's question, he tries to shrug.

"We'll cross that bridge when we come to it."

If he did, it really only meant one thing. Gwen would hate Vinny forever for what would have to happen.

Jeremiah walks to the end of the alleyway and looks either way to make sure its clear. No need to answer any unnecessary questions, though hopefully Gwen or Vinny can lie to get them out of it.

"Looks clear for now."

Gwen considers, and tries to muster up what to do with the unconscious EMT. There was no easy answer here, but that wouldn't stop her from trying.

"Come on, let's get him to the hospital. If it's made him unstable, hopefully they can take care of him." The implication being, of course, that Gwen would end up taking care of him. She starts to turn, to move the man towards the hospital. "If anyone asks, we went out drinking and he passed out before the first glass hit his lips." She looks somber as she says it. Dear God I hope he's alright. Or some spirit's gonna pay.

"Sounds good, Hun," Vinny adds while walking alongside with Rob. He really was going to pay for that but he couldn't help but say it with a wolfish grin.
