The Meeting of Three...Icy or Hot?

[Alice White]

As people entered the chamber the first thing they noiced was that spring was in full bloom in the large hollow. The hedge clearing was carpeted in green grass and decked in flowers, while deer and rabbits grazed on the edges of the space keeping their distance. The sounds of birds chirping created a background of joy which felt odd given the serious nature of the meeting.

On the dias, Alice sat on the throne. Next to her on a petistal and resting on a pillow as the antlered crown a constant reminder. She wore a light blue dress which stood out against the greens around her. While watching the butterflies flutter from flower to flower she patiently waited for Mister Bates to escort those summoned into the room as they arrived.

[Rust Mane]

Rust steps into the chamber. Dressed well, but slightly wrinkled in perfect bachelor fashion. His Cabal Mane is tied up in braids, fixed with bright red ribbon. Blue-white sparks shower down from the roiling electrical storm about his shoulders. As he approaches Alice he eyes the Antler Crown on it's pedestal.

She meant for it to be seen. but not on her head? Why? Had she not won it fairly?
Once before the Queen he kneels. "Queen. Spring is in full and Want reigns."

[Enzo]

Enzo, just beside the thrown is wearing a pair of dark light jeans, acid washed to be faded, and a white button up shirt, unbuttoned but for two of the snap buttons. He has the same pool cue case as he commonly wore lately, the arrows within hidden by the closed zipper. Cupid's Lament lays dormant in tree form, the tip of the tiny tree just poking out of his pocket.

He has a placid smile on his face, and it does not falter as Rust enters. "Good to see you again." He says to Rust with a nod.

Hopefully this all goes well, I hate formal stuff...

[Alice White]

When the door opened and Rust entered she looked up and then glanced over at her crown and let out silent sigh. As he kneels Alice reached for the crown and placed it on her head. Then she looked down at Rust and smiled.

"Thank you for coming. Please stand and make yourself comfortable," she said still smiling indicating a couple of chairs set out. She had noticed how he looked at the crown on the stand and decided that she would explain.

"It's awfully heavy," she begain with a smile. Oddly enough it seemed that Alice wasn't referring to the actual physical weight of the crown. "Besides, you wouldn't believe how uncomfortable antlers can be. I don't know how to poor bucks manage," she finished with a laugh.

"King Rust, for what it is worth I'm sorry things turned out this way. I wish you're promotion would have been less messy than mine was. That is what you meant over the phone right?"

[Rust Mane]

Rust stands and then moves to take a seat, rolling his shoulders and getting comfortable now that then tension had dropped. Sparks rain down, smoldering in the grass.

"It is. And I honestly hoped Mr. Barkley would be in this position. To be blunt. I had thought our transition would be smooth."
Rust frowns, an easy expression for his metal lion face to make. "But that was not to be I guess. He is with Gianna now. And in her protection. I did what I could to curtail his war, Beyond me and two others it was never even known about until it had been handled." His chain tail waves back and forth, a sign of his contentment over his progress so far.

[Forn Clakes]

The doors open as Katrin Byeli enters and her gaze sweeps across the throne room, Winter pushed aside once again as do all of the Seasons. However, contrary to popular belief, Katrin held a special place in her heart for Spring and would surely have joined the Court of Desire if it wasn't for the manner in which she escaped.

The sins of the flesh can change so much.

With a skirt of dark blue that skims just over her knees and a blouse of cerulean, Katrin has her hair hang loose. She does however, slip off her Christian Louboutins at the door and walks barefoot towards the dais and the current ruler of Sacramento's Lost.

"Queen White, a pleasure to be in your company once more," she says with a deep, and respectful, curtsy.

[Al-Adin]

Al-Adin bounds into the room. A cheerful smile on his face, happiness erupting from his features as the laughter of children accentuates the merry mood he is in.
So what if everyone else is dour. Not his problem.

"Hiya!" He waves to everyone.

[Alice White]

Alice's ears laid back and flat against her head while her tail twitched in irritation at the mention of Gianna's name. She spoke in a pleasant conversational tone with Rust, "Things could have gone much worse. I appreciate Yours and Fu's efforts in this difficult time. Was there any word about that Hedge beast hunt yet?"

When the Winter Queen walked in Alice gave Rust an apologetic look asking for a moment. Then when she saw Katrin take her shoes off Alice's ears perked back up. When the winter sovereign curtsied Alice smiled at the woman and spoke, "Queen Byeli, please rise and make yourself comfortable. Thank you so much for coming on such short notice. I apologize with how short I was in my message."

Alice lifted her feet slightly off the grassy surface and wiggled her toes, while grinning conspiratorially at the other woman, "The grass feels good doesn't it?"


"Al, welcome I'm glad you could make it."

She turned to include Rust in their conversation. "Thank you for your understanding," she said warmly to the metal lion.

[Rust Mane]

Rust turns to see Katrine enter, looking slightly surprised. Of course, Alice wanted everythinf settled And then Al bounds. That was to be expected. But, like Enzo. Rust pushes him out of his mind.

Business first. "Mine? Sheesh. I was walking razors trying to get this under control. It is ours to be sorry. Summer prides itself on camaraderie even when Death is upon us. Yet our very leader went against that ideal. His fight is his own. And now? So is his fate. I hope Gianna can set him straight"

[Forn Clakes]

The Winter Sovereign stands as a smile touches her lips.

"It was no problem, Your Highness. The stresses of the Crown, yes?" Katrin wiggles her toes in unison. "It does. I could never walk barefoot during my reign."

As others join them, Katrin steps back to blend in with the surroundings.
