Madison is done playing with the clowns and is ready to go help Argent. He's probably got the armory secure by now and the fact that he may have done it all by himself just irritates her even more.
She pushes more blood through her system to help heal the shot wounds as she moves toward the guard. She comes up with another overhead strike, grunting with the effort as her sword connects with the guards body.

As Argent prepares a defense, the banging on the Armory door stops suddenly. They must have given up and gone home, right?

As a predator, Argent inherently understood that a sudden change in environment rarely signaled Something Good.
He renewed his efforts, preparing for the inevitable. Loud metallic scraping sounded as he flipped the desk on it's side and braced it against the wall.
From behind the desk watching the door Argent crouched, bedecked with strips of material and an armful of grenades. He stole a glance at the guards he'd waylaid.
They were all in this together.
"What we do in life echoes through eternity!"
Damn right he was ready.

Throughout Jayant's unlife, he had been taught how to defend and protect and stay unnoticed. If he was ever needed to strike, it was with speed and without thought. If he ever saved a mark's life, it was not to be celebrated, simply part of his assignment.
Right now, he gritted his teeth in frustration to his training. He wanted to be noticed for a change. He wanted to place his kukri so deep into the guard's chest that he felt the reverberations of metal on sternum up his arm, and he wanted so badly to step out from the Mother's shadow.
And so, with a cry of defiance, he did.

Frustration lends Jayant's strike that extra oomph he needs to drop the man like a sack of potatoes. "Fuck you," says the guard with a mouthful of his own blood before he slips into unconsciousness. "You're not even human. You're not a person. You're noth...nothing..." One of the zealots Saul mentioned, no doubt.

Madison is done with this fight, these guards, all of it. She is ready to meet her teams goal already and get on with the destruction of this hell hole.
Without any fancy words, or movements, she just steps in and thrusts her sword into the guard in front of her.

The guard falls to Madison's blade. There's no one to prevent the pair from rejoining Argent...
Who could really use the help.
Armory
The Armory door is unlocked remotely. The large crowd of guards and mercenaries outside prepare to rush in to take back the Armory.
The door can only fit two people through at a time, so the two guards in front are the only ones rolling init right now, since they have to move in before any behind them can move. If Argent beats their init, he can trigger his trap immediately or hold to allow more people to enter. If he loses init, he can't trigger the trap until the first two guards have moved in. Assume every 3 seconds, 2 more guards enter the room (and can attack Argent) until we hit 20.
Guard 1 init= 12. Guard 2 init= 9.

Jayant was already turning as Madison finished off the final guard and saw that Argent was in serious trouble. Without a second thought, he sprinted the length of the corridor to aid the Deava, passing through the slight patch of shadow he had pointlessly created.
