Those headed to the armory find the first level door is unlocked and opens into the long hallway in between the main entrance and the meeting rooms, cafeteria, docks, and their target. Guards are yelling, and you'd bet you only have ten seconds before they arrive to investigate this explosion.

Jayant bounded up the stairs, kukri in hand and looked around at his other two kindred.

All unaligned.

Would we be missed? he thought, dourly. Pushing the thought from his soldier's mind, he simply thought about the success of the mission and their target ahead. Stretching out his hand, he aims to manipulate the shadows and cause more confusion. With any luck, it should give them a few more seconds to slip by.

Based on the floorplan Argent looked at, how far is the Armory? I'm wondering if he can use Celerity to get there before the confusion clears?

Madison follows close on Jayant's heels, her katana in hand. She knew that most of the guards here probably weren't carrying swords but she hoped with the confusion of the explosion, she would be over looked.

As the light around them dims, she looks at Jayant with a slight smile. Maybe this wouldn't be as bad as they thought.

Argent can run 96M- this is fast enough to get through the hallway and to the armory from where you are.

Jayant can change the conditions from Brightly Lit to Twilight for a section of hallway for 16 yards, forward, backward, or in between. Where do you want the shadows to fall?

Interesting question. Most probably near the middle to cover the crossing point of where the guards may start to come out. Also, shouldn't it be 25 yards for an E-Suxx?

Two guards approach Ishani and Jayant, and with their uniforms, they mistake them for their compatriots in chaos. "What's going on in there? What's wrong with the lights?"

Argent runs right by two more guards heading for the stairwell. They look up in confusion, then abandon the blurring Daeva, as he's already too far away to catch up. The armory is open, and the scene is pandemonium. Guards are pouring out of the meeting rooms and cafeteria, but the lab workers, much less disciplined, are running for the exits and getting in their way. The guard at the Armory looks at the coming stampede, then up at Argent, panicked. "Here, here!" he yells, holding out one of the fire-sticks. "Come on!"

"Oh God they're COMING!" Argent yells using his crazy manic face and eight year old girl voice, bowling into the man in the doorway and forcing them both inside.

"Lock it lock it lock it lock it!"
