Rachel put her hands on James shoulders and pushed herself away from him. She bit her lower lip for a second, and her eyes was stressed.

“Eh. Thanks. But no thanks. But we are not doing this. You're parked in the friends zone, and I'm going to get something more to drink. Alone.”

A mix of emotions cross James' face, his eyes narrow and his lips bare in a faint snarl at the rejection before he grimances, that primal lust still in his eyes.

"You didn't feel that sure a second ago, so what's the problem now?"

He keeps close to her, not really caring or paying attention to the fact that they're on a crowded dance floor, his question is intent, but quiet and directed at her, so it's unlikely to be overheard anyway.

She seemed a bit taller, and stood there with the same attitude as pale hissing cobra. It was hard to miss that a scene was going on out on the dance floor. You could almost taste anger clashing. And fear. A hint of it from Rachel at the intensity of James reactions.

“Well that's my problem, isn't it?”

She took a step away from him, as if a gap in the floor had begun to open up between them, slowly turning towards the bar. Not really willing to turn her back against his sudden anger.

James stares at her half turned back, then grunts, another suppressed snarl and then he reels, stalking through the crowd and towards the exit, a fairly noticeable corridor opening up as people sense not just a predator, but an angry predator.

Unless anyone or anything stops him, James exits.

After finally finiishing his shots, Abasi staggers to his feet and begins stumbleing from the bar. Half way drunk he bumped into a couple of people as he passed, headed for the door. Giving a wide smile as he walked, the liquor while helping forget about his problems just wasn't as fullfilling to him as seeing the angered look on jame's face as he left.
