"Wait, wait. What?" Twice Said Fred asks Dirge confused, then cries out as Jayant stabs him in the shoulder. Squeegee is quick to his aid, though, spitting out the grain alcohol and lighting it aflame, burning away the Mekhet's undead flesh. Matt lets go of the door and tries to tackle Jayant, but can't get a grip of the crispy critter.

The conclusion was not a particularly difficult one to reach. The bums had been well-prepared to fight the Kindred here, a bit disconcerting really. And several of them were possessed of combat ability that was far superior to what he had been expecting. Granted, it probably would have mattered little under normal circumstances, but these opponents were wielding fire. He wasn't about to stand around to exchange blows with them.
He glanced over to the Deputy; and pushed back the thoughts of what he would do to the man, the surge of rage towards MacAntaghee, for dragging him into this mess in the first place. "Time to disengage." And with that Wilhelm moved to duck behind a car, out of sight of the bums, before wrapping himself in the Shadows he had lived in for long decades. Perhaps he might yet be able to provide some assistance to his Whip, or learn about the ghouls that Set had observing them.
If not, it would come in handy for escaping without being roasted.

O-Yama turns to the one who had attacked him with the flames, the Oni still roared in pain and rage and he allowed the Bearer of Lanterns to unleash its full visage on the man, showing its true face in a snarl of demonic anger. The Oni showed its face with force, wanting nothing more than to end these fools, but O-Yama knew it was time to retire this location. They were ill-prepared for this, they needed to regroup. Seeing the man cower in fear, O-Yama bolts further away, moving quickly but not running full tilt yet. "We must retire this place and regroup."

Hot Feet Pete sees the Beast underneath O-Yama's exterior and cowers before him, the hairspray and sparkler falling out of his grasp as he curls up in a ball.
Mac isn't a Prissy- he's a Deputy. He sneers at Willy, then tells Grey "Save the Primogen." Mac uses his facility with Celerity to even the gap between himself and the liquor store, then fires a shot at one of the invisible serpent-men, piercing its scaley hide and revealing the abomination for all to see. He had a hunch...A forked tongue cries out in pain as green Vitae fountains from its chest. Mona screams "THEY'RE BACK!" and every bum turns and panics. She backs away towards the Mission and tosses her bottle at the Scaley, and the glass breaks across his thick scales.
A stray lunges for O-Yama, followed shortly by Fudge's smelly flare.
Rolls
Scaley 1 takes 3L. O-Yama takes another 1Agg, I think.

Michael sees the fight going on up ahead and then recognizes Dirge being led by a homeless man.
Where is he taking her by chance? Better keep back enough so her dog doesn't get onto me and blow my cover.
Just as he's getting closer he sees Jayant stab the man. Before he can react, he hears a gun shot go off and sees green liquid spray into the air and hears a woman shout "THEY'RE BACK!"
As if by defense, Michael draws his gun but keeps his eyes on where the homeless are running as well as Dirge as he watches to see where she goes next. Come on you stupid bum, grow some balls and continue going where you were going with Dirge. I don't know what the fuck is going on with the Lizard or the other homeless, but they aren't why I came here."

Fred forgets about the fang that stabbed him; getting the girl to the Rev'rend, that was the important thing. "Come on, come on!" He and Dirge take off towards the alley next to the Mission. Harriet and Larry see the liquor store crew in trouble and leave the Mission's defense to go to their aid.
The kitties come for Grey and O-Yama again, but don't wound either.
Grey is at -2 defense for cat attacks. O-Yama is at -1 defense.
Grey is UP, then Jayant.
Grey nods to the deputy and shunts vitae to his muscles to increase his speed and jets himself at a run to the man who tried to grapple Jayant. As he runs by he takes a swipe at the man with his machete.

The Naga screams deep inside as its shell is covered in the flames, searing away the dead flesh. With a steadying thought, Jayant simply smiles and laughs as he battles the frenzy building inside.
"Until next time," he calls out, sprinting back to the alley and the shadows, wisps of smoke rolling from his body. Bringing his bloodline's power to bear, he steps through the shadow to re-appear and much safer distance away.
Sometimes, a tactical retreat is the order of the night.

The shadow embraces the Shadow and Jayant finds himself far away from the bums, who are much more worried about the appearance of the serpent-men than the vampires. As the Kindred call for a retreat, Pretty Bill and crew disengage those near Mac's car and rush to the liquor store to help their friends. Argent and O-Yama take off on foot, Grey and Mac gather up the fallen Azmi and take him back to the car, where Willy and Jayant are waiting to get the hell out of Dodge.
Dirge and Twice Said Fred are running too fast for Michael to keep up with while Cloaked, so he resigns himself to observing the rest of the fight. While the boys make short work of the scaleys, Mona and Harriet work to patch up Blackteeth and Ro-Shamboni. Michael does learn something interesting for his trouble- as they drag the serpent's bodies into an impromptu bonfire, one recognizes a tattoo on one of the bodies belongs to another vagrant.
Since a retreat was called, I decided to narrate through all this stuff which might take another week or more in turns
Dirge continues in a Havens thread I'll start. Azmi is in torpor- once I've worked out how he wakes, I'll let you know you can join another non-sticky thread. Everyone else is free, no frenzies. Agg damage carries forward but can be mitigated with multiple feeding rolls/moods.
