The Capitol Park war memorial is in a state. As Harvey and Yui arrive, they can see the area around the memorial is taped off by police as they comb the surroundings for clues, some officers interviewing possible witnesses while others are hanging around looking bored. Several media types are about in the gathered crowd and easily cover Harvey and Yui's approach to mingle in unobserved.

Keeping his voice down as they enter the park, Harvey leans close to Yui. "Keep an ear and eye out, we don't want anyone either aye, finding anything bad, or bee, accidently opening the trod. Any questions?"

[Khalvin]

Yui looks about with some unease. "Um. How exactly are we gonna do that boss?" He fingers the black and white cube in his paw. Now looked like a good time to see how fate was going to play out.

He closes his eyes rattling the die in one paw, entreating Fate for the insight. Would these Mortals find anything that would point to the freehold. This was a gamble. but knowing Fate's course now meant efficiency. He takes a knee and releases the die. Letting it tumble from the positive white to the negative black a foot or or so along the Park's trail.

Harvey doesn't react to the 'Boss' quip. He's nobody's boss but his own.

"Just keep an eye out."

Yui fails to notice anything beyond the mortal authorities and gathered crowd. He also fails to notice as Harvey slips away to approach a police officer before turning back and tugging on the Beast's sleeve.

"Wakey, wakey. Keep up."

[Khalvin]

Yui grabs his die and hurries after. The police? Was Harvey going to play reporter? Or special investigator?

Indeed, Harvey does approach an officer as he seems to pull a badge from his pocket along with an ID card.

"Agent Terrence Fair, FBI. This here's my partner, Agent Justin Credible," Harvey states without any break and full of confidence. "What've you got?" He takes out a black notebook and seemingly starts to take notes. Over his shoulder, Yui can see him doodling pointless spirals on the blank page.

The policeman suddenly looks very nervous but doesn't back down. "Well, sir, seems like we had a bit of a fight that got out of hand. A gun or maybe two were fired. Eye-witness accounts link it as gang related."

Harvey nods. "Excellent work, officer. If there's anything we in the FBI approve of more, its efficiency. Now, I for one would like to take a look at the memorial. Come on, partner." Without further ado, Harvey is ducking under the police tape and striding for the trod gate.

Mr. Credible follows. Yui always wanted to be an FBI agent. He really wished he had a badge too.
But that was for another time. Yui focuses on the Memorial, searching it for anything that might be related to the Freehold or the Hedge.
