Bull Rush listened to the howl. It was east, towards the territory of the Sworn. But the moon was gibbous, and the howler was speaking of joy.
A new gibbous moon. Exactly what his pack needed.
He headed off in the direction of the howl in hishu form. No need to break things yet.

Chantay pauses as she hears the howl reach her upon the night winds, ringing through the city. A nuzusul, it had to be. She glanced back up to the Gibbous Moon. A Cahalith too, as if the sheer emotion infused into the notes left any doubt. She even found herself standing still for just a few moments as the howl died away, standing there in appreciation.
Then she was on the move. The Ascendant Crescent Brotherhood had been hoping to find a Cahalith for some time now, and that howl was near the Southeastern border of their territory. Besides, the Howl had sounded as though it came from a female. She still remembered her First Change...a female presence when she'd returned to her senses naked and disoriented certainly would have been comforting.
And as she wove her way through the city streets she couldn't help but think...it was a good thing she'd gone with flats instead of heels tonight.

Even as Helena is falling, the term 'clawing' at the air becomes eerily appropriate, her hands turning into what can best be described as paws. The impact with the ground makes a dull thud, barely registering across Helena's consciousness as she gets back up and starts running towards that white glow, ever closer. The dreams were the important part now, and sharing their insight with the world, their denied importance spread to the world.

The pain, however minimal it was, struck a chord with Helena; dreams of overtaking the alpha, overtaking his duties and the tragic loss of paradise. Yet when she needed him the most, her brother had forsaken her.
A traitor to the blood, he had called her. Coward. The next howl to rip through the air was charged with rage and sorrow, and Helena was quick to resume her chase of the moon, paws pounding against the pavement. She needed to climb, to be high and close to the moon where all could hear her song.

Vinny stops still as he sees the pup streak by in Urshul and sighs, looking around before changing himself to the sleeker Urhan, glad for the aid from Luna's pregnant gaze.
Why do they always run? he ponders as he gives chase. It is so annoying they always run!

As soon as Chantay actually caught sight of the Nuzusul she broke into an all out run, not missing the other Uratha that had apparently been drawn in by the howl. Though she didn't quite understand why he remained in Urhan form. The Nuzusul had already assumed Urshul form, and a wolf was not likely to catch a near-wolf. So she called upon her spirit side, infusing her body with essence as it swelled and fell forward. On four legs she joined the case, another Urshul running free beneath the Gibbous Moon's light.
Coming into the distance Abasi catchs sight of two wolfs chaseing another, The two in urshul sent off an alarm in abasi's head. < So it was howls earlier then. A new change?> Secounds after catching sight abasi dons his own near wolf form and joins in the chase.
Helena senses others, coming closer to her. The song was working. Others were hearing, and coming closer. Maybe with their voices, the while glow in the sky would come to join all of them. Helena feels a certain sense of instinctual pride swell that they are following her, and knows that she must lead them with her voice, with her dreams.
STA+Ath rolls from the chasers; 10 suxx catches Helena. +1 for every 3 full speed points above 17. Helena is too deep into the whole singing business to evade, and is heading straight for Luna instead.
