The woman gasps at Chantay, taking a step back, before realizing that's sending her straight into Bull Rush. A moment of sheer panic makes its way across her face, and she steps back and forth, before settling on putting her back to the monolith, and apparently trying to merge herself with the wall. With the expected success of a human trying to disappear into solid steel.

The sparks that played across her hands die out somewhat, but still send out small sparks across the solid metal behind her. The look the woman is sporting can best be described as cornered deer facing a hundred headlights. Panic obviously isn't too far off, if she isn't in its throes already.

With a quiet moan sounding like an animal's death rattle, 'Tinker' starts to get back up, the injury across its jaw still severe, but a large part of it has been filled with unidentifiable pieces of dead flesh already.

Are we still in combat turns?

Unless you want to keep whaling on either of them, it's not necessary. EML isn't making any motion to attack, and Tinkers is, well... not exactly in fighting shape.

Chantay's eyes narrowed slightly as she stalked across the site of the impromptu battlefield back towards Tinker. Feeling the rage that was every Uratha's heritage boiling just beneath the surface. She did not much enjoy being shot at. At least those wounds were healed now, though, and those caused by the electrical nature of the other Ridden were quickly being taken care of by her regenerative capabilities.

She stopped as she reached Tinker, looming over him as the Ridden slowly climbed to his feet. <<I trust you are willing to be reasonable now?>>

Bull Rush slinks behind Tinker, close enough that the ridden can hear bull rush's every breath.
He doesn't sound winded at all.

Tinkers glares up at Chantay, weighing options. With a look down at UTI's cooling host-corpse, he answers, "Fine. No flesh." The words are slurred, through a half-destroyed jaw, and to say the tone is reluctant would be to call the ocean 'damp'.

The woman answers, half-afraid, half-bewildered at the Claimed's words, "But he said,..."

"He's gone!" Tinkers snaps back at her, intending to keep her quiet. With rhe creak of oil-less joint, he tells Chantay. "You have what you came for. Leave. Let us finish." Apparently it doesn't occur to him to say 'please'.

<<My first offer was a generous one, made while we both negotiated from positions of equal strength and wished to avoid violence. But you decided to attack anyway.>> Chantay glances to the unconscious form of the fallen Ridden, then back to Tinker's mangled form. <<And now you are negotiating from a position of weakness. What makes you think the offer still stands?>>

Really, she was almost certain that it didn't. Bull Rush would just have to step in so she knew how far he wanted to push things. And with one foe down and another badly wounded whilst the Ascendant Crescent Brotherhood stood unscathed, he might be willing to go pretty far.

"I really, really would recommend not getting on her bad side. She usually doesn't get this angry. Maybe you ought to offer up something really nice."

Bull Rush "whispers" to Tinker, still standing behind him.

Tinkers looks at Chantay, one of its headlight eyes having been replaced during its regeneration by the broken lens of a long-dead security camera. "You struck first." A moment later, clarification, "or at least, he did."

The woman speaks up, meekly. "Just get them away." Apparently it's all she can do to keep calm.

Tinkers doesn't bother to tell her to be quiet this time. "We will clear away the body of Usefulness through Ingenuity's host. Make it disappear." It doesn't expound on the method. "You want to keep it away from the flesh-beings' eyes. We will provide." After a moment of reflection, it adds, "And with any other bodies you want gone. You win, we win." It says that last bit wearily, fully aware that someone somewhere was going to try to wring an unreasonable deal out of him.

The woman covers her mouth with her hands in shock. Obviously, the idea of being a corpse disposal system doesn't appeal to her.

"Chantay, lets talk." Bull Rush says, tapping Tinker on a wounded shoulder, before pulling chantay aside. He leaves the accusation of first strikes aside. In the end, who cared?

"Such a service could be a real boon to the territory. There will be bodies, and hiding them in my backyard is only going to work so well. But at the same time, I think we can get more from them. What do you say?"
