On his left there's a pile of books, ones he had pulled from the shelves that Joseph thinks he might be able to understand. On his right rests an open sudoku book.

Joseph puts a book mark into one of the books from the left hand pile and puts it with its friends. A hand goes through his wavy hair. Then picks up the sudoku book. Joseph works through a puzzle then puts it down and picks up the book from the left hand pile he has been reading.

This had been going on for nights now. Trying to expand his knowledge of the unseen world and trying not to have his mind explode from attempting to understand most of it. The Coils were allowing him to devote the time with out worrying about feeding. Joseph had woken up in the chair earlier that night, not exactly something he had planned.

Finally he closes the books and returns the library books to their correct places. Taking the sudoku with him, he leaves the Chapter House looking forward to daysleeping in his bed.
