As the hammer catches Jayant, he unsheathes his kukri in one smooth movement to slice at one of his attackers, catching sledge just after Konstantin charges into him. He could see the Hound's idea of pacifying these people but Jayant was not raised to take things half-heartidly. Although, maybe he was being lazy by wishing to end this as quickly as possible.

"Hurrk," says the burly man, spitting up fresh blood after Konstantin and Jayant's combined strikes. He looks in rough shape, but he's still standing.

"You freak!" yells the woman with the gun, then unloads a round at dead center mass. Good thing for Ajax, she really is shooting dead mass. "Fuck me, I've been shot!" he screams, looking at the hole in his chest in disbelief.

The woman with the length of plumber's helper in her hands takes a wild swing at Konstantin, but whiffs. Her partner with the knife doesn't, though, burying the hilt deep into the Gangrel's side with a grin. "Abomination."

Despite the distractions of the melee, Jayant notices two or three (hard to tell in the middle of the fight) figures moving over the torpored Deputy in the office...

Markos and Charlie

The ragged door within the Motel Office is torn from its hinges. "Wakey, wakey, eggs and bakey," giggles the mad-eyed Mairsil as his wrist splits open without need of blade or claw. Vitae spills from the wound to Charlie's lips. "Quickly, bring me the other." Mairsil's henchmen each grab one of Markos' legs and drag him back towards the employees lounge.

Explanations

Jayant may go ahead and act. Charlie has been fed 2 Vitae from Mairsil, who's BP is high enough to waken Charlie. Next round, he may wake and roll Initative, however, he is Prone and still really, really beat up. This is considered the first level of Vinculum.

Jayant's blade pierces the man's heart. The head of the sledgehammer clunks on the asphalt, followed shortly thereafter by head of the man who bore it to battle. Blood continues to flow up and out of his chest, staining the blacktop crimson.

"You crazy bitch!" Ajax yells, wrapping his arms around the woman with the gun. "You shot me!"

The woman with the hatchet takes another swing at Jayant and the wide blade tears a swath of fang-meat from his torso. She doesn't seem to have noticed the big man fall, nor the couple with knives standing beside her. "You're gonna diiiiieeeee," she taunts in a singsong voice.

Konstantin reflexively spends a bit of Vitae, and his his hands change, becoming furry, the nails lengthening and thickening into hooked black claws, like those of a bear. Knowing this fight had to end quickly, he is done trying to go easy on these wretches. He turns to the woman that had stabbed him and slashed out with his claws, not at her face or torso, but rather at the wrist right behind the hand that held the knife, his Vitae-created claws rending skin and muscle and bone as easily as a chainsaw might tear through wet newspaper.

"DIE, DIE, DIE!" the woman with the gun screams at Ajax, letting off another shot into his abdomen. "Stop doing that!" he yells. "It fuckin' hurts!"

The woman with the knife shrieks in unholy agony as Konstantin's claws cut right through her. Her right hand dangles off from her wrist at an odd angle, held by only a few scraps of skin. A scarlet waterfall blossoms from the gaping wound onto the ground, drawing the eye of Jayant's still-hungry Naga. She looks at the Gangrel with pure hate in her eyes, and picks the fallen blade up with the hand she has left.

That's not a typical reaction to having one's hand violently removed.

The next thing Konstantin knows is the feeling of having one's brains bashed inwards by a length of pipe, then one's side split by a blade. His Beast roars that this insult be avenged...
