After he gets off work, Derek isn't successful in getting through to Erica, so he heads to Tim's address, her last known location.

Arriving at the apartment building, he can see Erica just leaving with an official looking bag on her shoulder. She looks behind her towards the building conspicuously and dosn't notice Derek ahead of her.

Derek chooses to wait until she's near him before saying "Hello there. Find anything interesting?" He smiles at Erica.

Erica jumps out of her skin and beams proudly.
"Derek, yes! Look...." she unzips the bag and let's him peek inside to reveal a laptop.

Quickly closing the bag, she shakes her head.
"No, it wanted a password and I didn't try just in case I broke it or something. Also, I tried to look for some paper work but found nothing. So, did I do good?"

"You did good," he says, smiling. He wasn't sure what she'd found, but at least she got in. "Any sign of any comings or goings to or from the Hedge?"

Erica looks suddenly worried, her smile going as she looks to her feet.
"I...er...well.....forgot to check. Sorry."
|

Derek just nods. "It's okay. At least you were able to get in. Let's take the laptop somewhere and see if there's anything of use on it."
