*Ciara looks over the day's notes. Another night, another few hours of work. Thankfully the agency ran itself for the most part, she simply looked over the books, approved the new talent. And took most of the earnings. The CEO didn't mind, funny what a full Blood Bond could do to a man's vaulted pride. Speaking of earnings.... She pulls up the last month's balance sheet; running through the figures in her head. She smiles, the modeling agency was doing better than she had hoped, perhaps moving to America was a good idea after all. New talent was pouring in, shows were lining up well... there was even enough disposable cash to a little donation. But where to send it...

The homeless? No, there was no glamor there; no one holds a party to hand out soup and sandwiches. There was the recent earthquakes in Chile and the Caribbean; but those would be over soon. Natural disasters only stay with people for a month at most. No, she wanted something that would provide an outreach into the community for some time to come. She thinks for a moment, then pulls up Google; typing in California charity celebrity event. Most of the results are pet projects of the rich and famous; but there are also numerous hits for environmental and animal charities holding events as fund raisers.

Environmental issues were right out, they had an annoying habit of holding their fund raisers outside, during the day. That just left animals. Ciara glances through the names, one in particular catching her interest; Greyhound Friends for Life. She stops, remembering the racing dogs her Sire had kept on the estate, breeding them for generations for competition on the track. She also remembered how carelessly they were tossed away after they had lost their speed, or had gotten hurt. She clicks on the link, picking up her phone and dialing the number listed on the website.

She talks to the director of the charity, idly chit-chatting for sometime; learning exactly what the operation did and how it did it. The goal was commendable, taking retired racing grayhounds and finding suitable homes for them. What truly please Ciara was it was a goal easily applied to fund raiser, charity balls, all sorts of public exposure.*

That all sounds wonderful dear. I was wondering if you accepted donations? You do? Wonderful. And would a donation of say, a thousand help your organization? *She smiles at the man's reaction, laughing softly as he thanks her* Not at all dear. Yes, you can put my name in the newsletter. If you happen to know any other organizations that are in need of funding, I'd love to have their number...
