Shadow stood in the doorway of the transformed meeting room gazing at the work she had done. Everything seemed to be in order and would be ready for the ceremony when the rest of the covenent arrived.
The room was barren of furnature save for one medium sized wodden table set in the center of the room. The carpet, which had once been a light brown had been pulled out and replaced with a thick black one. The walls had been draped with a heavy satin cloth in varying colors. One was black and had a glossy sheen against the small amount of light in the room. Another wall was draped with azure, the folds of the fabric falling in graceful waves and the third wall was covered in a dark crimson cloth. The other wall was left to it's barren wood panneling.
There were eight thick forest green candles set in ornate silver holders placed on the table an equal amount of space apart. There was a silver dragon in the center of the table also holding three candles, although these were already lit. One black, one azure, and one crimson, the light flickering shadows across the room and on the walls.
In front of one of the green candles sat a leather bound book. The book has no markings on the cover and the pages are lined in gold. The only marking is on the binding and appears to be an egyptian hyroglyph.
Shadow nods once to herself and heads for the front door in anticipation of her guests arrival. She stands at the door, dressed in her traditional Onyx black dress with silver brocade alone the cuffs of the umbrella sleeves and the low neckline. The only other object she wears is the silver and sapphire collar around her neck.
