As usual, Derek's sleep is restless, so leaving Erica to sleep, he gets up, fires off copies of a text and the pictures he took at Tim's office to Arthur, Atlas and Alice and turns on his computer.
Going online, first he pulls up the local newspapers to check on coverage of Tim's death. Surely someone found bloodily dead in his office at the mall would merit some coverage. If nothing else, maybe he could get Tim's full name.

That would result in a chance die to look something up on Google. Any bonuses for it being current news, or being the sort of thing one can easily locate with a search engine? Or, alternately, will Investigation be of use?

At first Derek doesn't have much luck. He hasn't done a lot of this sort of research in the recent past. But, as he pushes himself to focus, he finally makes some headway.

Derek finds one article on a local newspaper website about the discovery in the mall but that's all from official sources. However, on FaceBook, it seems a memorial page has been set up devoted to one 'Tim Lovejoy' by a large number of local users of the social network site.

Derek looks at the Tim Lovejoy Memorial page, seeking a picture to confirm whether this is the same Tim.

Erica stirs sleepily in the bed and rolls over, only to find out Derek isn't there. she jerks upright in a near panic and glances around, trying to see where he went, with no sign of him in the bedrioom she quickly swings out of the bed and pulls her dressing gown and slippers on, entering the main room and letting out a breath of relief when she sees him.
She walks up behind him and rests her head on his shoulder as she looks at the screen. "What are you doi.. ahh, you found him?"

After a few more clicks, its definitely the Tim that Derek knows. A quick scan also gives an address for a memorial taking place in a few days time. It looks like its going to be a busy affair judging by the amount of condolences currently on the site.
