The strange case of Taylor Mccoy

Michael's initial instinct was to contact another kindred local to the city to see if they could fill him in on the assets of Taylor Mccoy. Then he decided maybe it was unnecessary, perhaps he could find what he needed on his own.

Parking his car a few cars away from the actual address, Michael stepped out of it and counted the numbers until he found the right location. Standing outside, he tried scanning the building to make sure no one was inside. If it was abandoned, he would attempt to go in.

The security lights are on at Taylor's very nice home home, but from the Postal Service note stuck to his mailbox and the large number of advertising flyers and similar nuisance bits of advertisement lying on the doorstep, it appears he either hasn't been there in a while, or doesn't get out much.

Make a Per check for Michael, please.

Michael tries leaning forward to get a better look, trying to wait and see if he sees anyone walking through the windows.

I wonder if it has an alarm of some sort. Perhaps there's a way to sneak in the back He moves his head to see if there's an area that leads to behind the house that he may pass through without difficulty.

Michael sees that the back part of Taylor's yard is enclosed in a short fence. He also notices security lights at the front door and the garage, and the dim glow of a light from somewhere in back, and he sees a security company decal has been fastened inside one of the windows.

As he turns to consider options, he sees a woman is rushing toward him... she's almost on him before he realizes she is there.

Michael needs to roll Initiative.

Michael wins initiative. Declare whether he is going to take an action or wait and see what the woman does. Keep in mind that since Michael does not have Quick Draw, drawing a weapon is an action.

Michael is going to attempt to grab the woman, but I'm not sure what I should take away from his dice pool to account for her defense.

Speaking of which, here's the rest of his combat stats sorry I forgot the rest earlier.

Hm I wonder what's with all the...what the hell?

Michael turns to see the woman running at him and almost reaches for his sap.

Don't you idiot. What if she's a tenant at this house? That goes double for hitting her.

Michael's hands go up as he attempts to brace this woman and at least slow her down from what looks like attacking him.

As he reaches he firmly says "Miss calm down, what is the meaning of this?"

"Do you know where Taylor is?" the woman asks, speaking so quickly that the pauses between words are barely noticeable. "Are you a friend of his? I need to see him for a treatment, right away!""

The woman looks to be middle aged, and in bad condition... hair disheveled, make-up smudged, cheeks sunken, dark circles around her eyes. The clothing she's wearing looks expensive, but it also looks like she's been wearing it for several days, at least.

More than anything, she looks like an addict suffering from severe withdrawal.
