Daeva night drive

Not hiding the fact that she enjoyed the intertwining of their fingers, nor that she enjoyed physical contact to begin with, it was one of the few things that had remained a constant in her life, something she had always loved. Parents who scolded her or more for it but that only made its allure all the more appealing.
"Indeed, and it shall be our enjoyment when the day comes." Giving out an attempt at a warm laughter but quickly feeling the enjoyment fade along with the warmth in her laugh. "And now it is a perfect Halloween costume, especially when I go with red hair for the night to make it all the more enjoyable." Made even more fun with her being born on the path of the devil for those who grasped that reference. "Yes good fun, not at all something else, not at all."

Mimicking the nod with the tiniest of nods paired with closing eyes rapidly opening back up again.
"That is what we have family for, people always say that at the end of the day so can you only trust yourself. Now that saddens me, I wish for us to be able to say that at the end of the day so can we trust none but blood or family at least, but I fear I have been speaking on such things enough to make it sound false." Not certain how much she had hammered that part of her nature in by now. "That sounds wise, I shall keep it in mind to the extent it allows us to do so." Bowing her head with a teasing little smile. "It shall be my honor with the Reeve first if they are needed rapidly, else you first of course." Waiting to see the reaction, wishing to see if this would give her a warning sign or a comfort in where she threw her allegiances.

A light cocking of her head.
"What should I not understand? Only a fool acts hastily." Keeping her calm composure with eyes out over the road, the embers of fear pretty much gone, there had been to many chances to threaten her by now or set her in danger that it was hard to see a reason for it to happen after this much talk. "I am here once you need me, do feel free to add my piece to your chessboard as a knight at will." Licking her lips with a light grin. "Then I guess you have no choice but to show me where it is located after all, tell me what is the scent of your neighborhood?" The praise not seeming to affect her nor given any grand reaction. "I am glad to be of aid my fair cousin." Now just to make sure she wrote it in her own words, the other wonderous marvel next to her certainly having her patterns recognized by now.

The glimmer in her eyes still there, ohh this was her wheel house, the one area where she had seldom faced people who saw all that she did, the one thing that never got dull.
"I once devised a path to make a vape mod into a unit that threw fire on its user, another time just the right addition of a chemical to turn the vapor itself into a paralytic poison." A thankful look given, knowing that she had shared something that was enough to make anyone vary of her, parts that should not be spoken of lightly but still it did not seem to frighten her cousin, if it was out of foolishness or trust that was a question for another day.

Leaning back with a light lowering of her head, blinking as she locks a seductive gaze upon her cousin.
"My, my, do I read more in your words than their initial meaning? At first you spoke of me staying until I got settled, now your words make it sound like you would want my residency to coincide with yours and our other cousin on a longer basis, do I entice you so?" A light look down upon her nails. "Not that I would mind a close residency or even living together for the foreseeable future if you would allow me to use my charms, money and knowledge to expand it, adding rooms or getting other close by tenants out to be able to combine it into a bigger place, or even just find a larger house together whichever you deem appropriate." A light roll of her eyes. "Who could possibly control their urges amongst the divine wonder that is you, the light of a star passing through a rainbow made flesh." A touch upon her own chest. "I might look like it but I am not a demigod who can resist such temptations."

A light bite of dissappointment.
"That is unfortunate, I do have found a place to keep my car safely parked but I do would like access to at least my bike, I do love my car though, it´s one of my most cherished things I own." And the devil would soon get to greet anyone who damaged it. "But a bike is fine to get around for when you do not expect longer travels." Even if the scent was not her favorite.

An appreciative look.
"Then so I shall, especially as you are the rarity of rarities that is neither spooked or scared by what we are, and a beauty that can rival or exceed myself. Do not worry though I shall be calmer during more official affairs begrudging as it is." That would be her true trial. "I am in no rush, just make sure to utilize me when you might need a hand."

Shining up, knowing that she played a dangerous game with her words, they did serve her aims though.
"Thank you kindly my Priscus, I hope to not be find wanting nor lacking of your expectations of me." Taking the map with a quick look over at it clearly seeming a bit used to use her right hand but it did lack some tact, making sure to find each corner path as she refuses to be the one to let go of their touch, enjoying the chance far to much to let it pass her by especially after being told how rare such things might become. "Once more I need to thank you for your kindness, I do have some less common hunting habits among with our more common ones so this will be a great aid." Not that they were secret as most would lack the skills to mimic them anyways.

A light chuckle at the words.
"That is not truly me, but I can play that role if you would desire it. Stereotypes have their advantages, and why give out all your cards?" The fact that herself included marked three people on the soil of this Earth whose praise would matter a different story.

"As said though I am not wealthy enough to throw money around at will, but if our blood do needs a bit of aid so will I gladly contribute to some extent."

[Verity Carmen]

Verity no stranger to using extensions and wigs but rarely dying her hair due to the just utter waste of time such a thing proved to be was curious. "When you go red for the tonight what's you favoured method?" Make up and such vanity something she had either the blessing or the misfortunate to have little need to care about the area largely off limits to her unless the greatest of efforts was made.

The unaligned dansed alone that was part of what then unbound, tied to nothing but what flowed in their veins shared common origin and they did not get to choose family after all. And when your backs against the wall little else matters as beyond that inescapable bond. "Indeed I think our thoughts are known, I hope through my offers of aid and information you can see I have genuine intent in what I say." A nod. "Yes if The Reeve is needed then the Reeve must come first, otherwise if it is gossip rumours or things the Reeve has no need to know then only me." She trusted Helen most of the officials but having cards in her own pocket no one else had was just smart.

A smirk. "You are no fool cousin that is clear, but many take offence over the slightest of things I am glad you are no such one." Okay so she is really big on the scents thing. "If I had to place it, the scent of living." She would see in due course, Verity lived in the lap of kine, surrounded by beating hearts behind every wall around her. "My haven is at this address." The chess analogy not taken up more because she is a modern girl, she does not play that particular game.

A pause as she considers the thing she had been gifted once more. Well I dodged something there that's for sure. "Hidden flame throwers can be very useful if very risky for us to use of course, besides who would be use them against?" Such things would surely only be needed to scare or destroy and one of those was forbidden them. But her would are not damming simply curious.

A chuckle. "Cousin you could entice the moon from its chase of the sun we both know this." A little bit of poetry for the compliment. "But three together surely you see to what I allude should the shorter tenancy work out to be favourable for all of us involved." Three had the makings of a coterie. "As for who or what to add and how so all things that must be given thought." Not a move she would make recklessly, and resources for such an endeavour would need to be careful laid in place. The compliments are sure nice though. "Then resit not cousin, flirt away I am not so humble as to think or pretend I am other then what you say." The smile one of invitation.

There was on solution. Verity Uses her thumb from the still joined hands to indicate the space behind them. "I can take the seats out and we can put you bike in the back of my van." Double up on the parking. "I care far more about this then I do my bike, the bike can replaced this not so much." This had served her well in life and death and she would be loathe to part with it.

A firm nod. "Yes open flirting or affection in public spaces only invites danger, and attention we are better off without, and make use of you I will worry not." Both of her cousins may yet come to regret their offers of aid given the workload the Daeva Priscus had found herself under lately.

A raised eyebrow but she does not push for now. What I don't know after all. Deciding plausible deniability might be better when it came to odd hunting habits. "That is another thing that must remain with me you understand, it is less dangerous to be sure but even so no need to take the risk. But you can look at it as needed given the sleeping arrangement we have come to." The boundaries were not exactly a bike path. "Is it not the point of a Priscus to make sure those of her clan are taken care of, to prepare and to educate, to punish if needed. And I greatly desire that neither of you start from the nothing I had to." A little leg up, and good favour never hurt.

Another laugh. "Exactly that why give them out, letting think as they will and hold close everything." Her look turns both dark yet invigorated. "Then if and when the time comes to strike those who have wronged you so the blow will be all the worse." The value of information was higher then gold after all.

You can raise your city status to 1, are we good to end the scene there or do you want them to chat for a bit?

A light flick of her dark hair.
”I had the fortunate misfortune of being born with dark hair so coloring it is often pointless, first needing to bleach it, feel the damage, color it to the color I want and then wake up with pristine raven black hair once more so hair nets, bald caps if needed, wigs and extensions.” That only took her a few minutes to sort out at least and offered plenty of reusable alternatives.

A final look to the roads as they traverses them.
”It does not seem like either of us has any ill intent nor lies for blood, caution but not falsehoods. Your words have been heard, well taken in and appreciated my dear cousin.” Allowing herself to show a look of appreciation, she was truly not dealing with a fool, her own last trial to see her Priscus concluded and passed with flying colors.

Lightly laughing at the words.
”For what reasons? Know thineself and words shall never hurt you.” Besides she had lived enough lives to see aspects from to many angles to care. ”Now that is very open ended, I guess I shall see then.” Mumbling the address with a light squeeze of their intertwined hands, her right fingers softly dancing on the air to be sure to put it to memory without fault, navigation she would have to learn later.

Lightly shrugging with her free arm only, not wanting to interrupt their close hands.
”Good question, me and my teacher/friend simply had fun devising a lot of things. We didn´t even use a fraction of them, but ahh he was a wonderful man.” The fact that the mod she had given away were unable to work in such a manner due to lack of heat not spoken as a glimmer in her eyes begins to light up at the thoughts of what she could possible do with them instead.

A light turn of her head, slightly lowered as she gives a seductive wink.
”I am the moon my fair cousin, I shall gladly view you as my Sol though.” Intentional or not the challenge had been birthed early in the night and bow in that manner she did not. ”Many a things can be done with three, I shall look forward to the meeting of our blood in the near future.” A silent nod offered in answer, plans always wise and the way she had managed each of her changes. ”I know not how many of indescribable wonder walk this Earth, only that you and I are amongst them, why should we ever not believe a word to accredit our marvel? Leave that for those who do not deserve to hear it.” We both certainly do. The inviting smile making her lightly squeeze their intertwined fingers, loving the challenge set before her.

Her own hand easily following along to the guided motions without a hint of resistance.
”I thank you for the offer, but I am certain that I can find some parking area nearby, mayhaps you have some rental garages in your area I could utilize? I would hate leaving marks from the tires in your car. I know how much I would hate it if someone did that to my car.” Not that her car had any backseats though. ”I know the feeling cars can truly be special can they not, I know not how many a nights mine has served me well, days as well for that matter.”

A feigned sigh.
”Indeed, hence all the harder to avoid when not in public.” Not that her latest public one had been to kind on her from others eyes though.

”That much was understood, hence why I am putting it to memory to be able to utilize the corners of it until I learn it by heart. It might make my usual habits a bit harder but it should not be to hard.” They were highly flexible after all and had their tricks. A warm look offered to her fair cousin as she raises their hands with a light kiss placed upon her own finger, letting Verity feel the corners of her lips against her two fingers. ”You praised me for still being more human than beast, I truly do see now that those words holds a deep meaning for you, making it all the more special to have been blessed with by you.”

Leaning her head back with a look up to the skies, she had truly found an enjoyable place or at least person to throw in the next part of her existence with.
”Precisely, the world is a stage and we are the stars.” Placing her right hand atop of her heart with a softened voice. ”Aww you are to sweet my fair cousin.”

[Verity Carmen]

Her cousin gets a curious side eye. "It would seem we have a similar manifestation cousin no matter what I seem to do when I revert to the general state of my embrace it includes hair and make up." Although it would seem Alicia goes further in making temporary changes to her appearance then Verity herself is want to do. "But Black hair is by no means a misfortunate, consider how many crave it." And black works with so much.

The look of appreciation is noted and one given in return. It is good for her cousin to understand Verity has all the cards to play in forming this relationship that she had shared a few, by no means all but a few, an it not gone unnoticed is a positive sign sign.

A shrug. "I don't know why but it does not change that many are like it." Fragile egos, thin skinned or just to bestial. A breath. "Think sweat, and perfume, gasoline and tarmac, of cooking food and laundry soaps, think of air fresheners and alcohol all the scents of a community roiling and rolling in the ever entwinned song of the living." And that still didn't do it justice.

A chuckle. "Well having a back log of gizmos and gadgets if you should ever need them can be helpful." Better to have, then not have after all. "But there is plenty going on around here I do not doubt you will have the chance to experiment." Just remember to steer clear of the fire based ones.

She takes the wink with a squeeze of their fingers and sultry look of her own. "You would be my moon? Destined to ever chase and never meet? I think not." No far to much opportunity in their meeting. A sun has many other properties though. "Many things can yes." And Verity had no intention of letting her blood sit idle. "Some feel the need to buoy others up with false praise or to compare then to those they simply cannot compare to. The whole there are no losers idea." Utter tripe. The overwhelmingly majority lost, to move into winning required you to accept that first. "It is good to know the measure of yourself cousin, and I do so look forward to getting to know it far more intimately." Her musical tones purring out the last few words. She was a kindred close to her humanity she could only not flirt with one such as her cousin for so long herself.

A shrug. "I can put a rug down easy enough." If she couldn't overcome tyre marks then how would handle the danse itself. "Not immediately local but for the short time they are needed there will be some somewhere yes." Which ever her cousin preferred. "Yes they serve us so very well. In these nights." The Car and its variations an essential part to surviving the Danse in nights of the gilded cage of city existence.

A look to her cousin before back to the road. "I have met none of our calibre but plenty of good looking enough kine walk the streets and can make for some fun nights between the sheets." A way to vent some of the need if nothing else, find some moments of passion.

"Well if it helps we can tour the streets for a few hours before needing to start our considerations about turning in." Although the nights had begun to lengthen once more, summer was passing and soon soon time would theirs again. "Praise I don't give lightly cousin." Oh she noticed that, good.

Verity Smirks. "The stage has many moving parts, its how we use each part of it that truly determines the outcome." The star of the show played but one role, one of very many. And Verity will drive her cousin around showing her the sights of the city and communal area until the approaching sun forces them back to their haven.
