The Archer Checks In

[Nightfall]

Done with the hospital, Nightfall made his way to Katrin's store. He had left the hospital as he'd arrived; by bus, and it had seemed like every stop it could made, it had. His stomach rumbled in protest at the fact that he hadn't eaten yet, but he ignored it as he made his way into the antiques store to find his Sovereign.

[Forn Clakes]

Upon entering Treasured, Nightfall finds it to be as clear as ever of any clutter or dust. Not a single mote of it is disturbed as the door opens and the bell twinkles throughout. In fact, it seems to be the only sound with the only sight being the antiques for sale in perfect order.

In essence, Katrin isn't on the shop floor.

Curious, but knowing that nature called everyone at some point --even Queens--, Nightfall knocks loudly on the door jamb.

[Forn Clakes]

The shop remains quiet and still until Nightfall hears the distinct tone of the Winter Queen shouting at someone or something from an adjacent room, and she sounds very, very angry.

[Nightfall]

Nightfall reaches into his toggle coat, feeling the smooth cylinders of his batons, and carefully makes his way towards the back, but putting haste before complete care.

The voice of Katrin seems to get more urgent as Nightfall can make out sentences like "Such a disgrace!" and "How can this trash be created!" being shouted aloud followed swiftly by several Russian voices.

Nightfall speaks Russian Assuming it's indistinct, tho...

Nightfall continued to approach. His first thought was that Katrin was having fake antiques made; the western parts of the former Soviet Union had become quite the industrial area, following in the footsteps of China.

He didn't care what the argument was about, thought -- if it got out of hand, Katrin would need assistance. Quickening his pace, he made his way towards the voices. He considered wrapping himself in fey protection, but it'd be damn awkward if he came to a door...

Going through the adjoining open door, Nightfall sees a large, plush couch situated before a television, which is quite loud - and the point from where all the shouting is coming from. Seated on the couch and watching a movie is noneother than Katrin.

She is still shouting at the television. Something about not being as good as the book.

[Nightfall]

Nightfall refrains from rolling his eyes loudly. He doesn't have any idea if she has cameras on the doors or a chimer, but she needed them, if not. His hands slide back into his pockets, and one reappears -- empty. He knocks lightly on the jamb.

Katrin's head snaps round, glaring to the door. Nightall notices that she holds a DVD box in her hand that is primed and ready to be launched.

Its a copy of Night Watch.

"Ah, Archer, you surprised me." She turns the sound down to a more reasonible level before shuffling along and patting the couch. "Come, join me."
