The Nox Populi is an upscale experience that will take Sacramento nightlife to a whole new level.

In the heart of downtown Sacramento there is a place of intrigue, excitement and entertainment. The modern flare of this venue is host to exclusive parties. The seduction of this establishment may take you away as you drink, dance and socialize. There are private services available upon request. The best DJ’s in town are in line to play a wide variety of music. Some of you may dine…as long as you have your VIP pass.

However the Kindred arrive they are discreetly met and led to the back of the club. The space downstairs is decorated in dark, rich woods and expensive furniture. There's a coat room that will also hold one's 'unmentionables'; namely, weapons, at the foot of the stairs. There are also private areas, dark, and furnished with soft couches, as well as meeting rooms with conference tables and chairs, and an area with several televisions. The Court area is decorated with long black and brown silken drapes cascading from floor to ceiling. Draped in elegant bunches and gathered into valances across door frames and between supporting pillars; the lighting is intentionally low, but without the pulse of the music from above, the place has the feel of a sepulchre.

The common area circles the Court proper, and it becomes apparent that this is not decorated for a single evening. Small symbols note areas for Kindred only that branch off of the Commons, which will be necessary once those Kine privileged enough to see behind the Masquerade filter in: ghouls, herd members, or even devotees. The furniture setting is familiar now: a set of elegant chairs, all dark wood and red leather, arranged in a circle. The baroque lighting leaves the corners of the Elysium commons in deep shadow.

With the permanent fixture that the chess table had become, there was yet another new item. A Steinway concert piano, its cover in an upright position, revealing stunning inner strings strings. The lid was closed on the keyboard, the bench not with it.

Another evening; another Danse. For some it will their first, for some it shall be their last. After all, this is the Prince's Elysium, and subject to the Laws of the Domain.

Formal Court a specific event. Announced to the Domain, you are expected to attend or you will find your Acknowledgement revoked. After 1 Week, the doors to Court close (no new entries into the thread). Once you have left Court, you are not permitted to return. Court is never truly empty: this can include 'faceless masses' of Kindred beneath notice, ghouls, herd members, devotees, or even officials in their offices.

[Verity Carmen]

Formal court had arrived again and in the Daevas mind she was one for one on successful showing, and of a mind to make that number swing into a positive ration. She moves through the Nox in the outfit she had pieced together for this night.

Thigh high boots with golden floral patterns, accented by Deeper red floral stockings Both of which are in turn given a degree of obfuscation from the Black lace flared trousers worn over top Her belt had been an expensive gamble Latex made to look like gold filigree and honestly something she is unlikely to invest further in but it works for this outfit. If her lower half was not complex enough she has gone for trying something entirely new. First The under layer corset layered over with An actual dress and supplemented with a crop top under the dress, the better not to show to much. Over all of this the red lace top That ties off loosely around her midriff is given form by the shoulders of the corset underlayer so that Gold feather epaulettes have a balanced base to better frame the outfit. As for accessorises/ A black rose briar necklace is pulled tight around her neck. Her earrings are climbing thorns. A Rose and stem hairpiece holds auburn locks in place so that a long braid with Add your own thorns dangling down to her hips. Anyone knowing Verity would realise she must have hair extensions in because her hair normally only falls around her shoulder blades and upper back. Her hands are lightly encased in Black lace roses and given some style by adding lace gauntlets. Her left hand utilises the Metal tip accessories that adds the sound of clinking metal to her motions, while her right is adorned by A ring of golden thorns and a ring of golden roses

Stopping before she enters court proper she listens to the beat of music, to the sound of cheers and laughing to every moment of life lived in the Nox and as she does she fastens the beast in its cage, she knew what was coming and upon entry and made sure she was prepared to face it.

With that Verity Enters Elysia and begins to mingle with the faceless crowds present, listening to their boasts, chuckling at their stories, and looking mildly impressed by things that were less then impressive in her book.

[Jennifer Hazelton]

The Lady held herself with dignity and respect as she walks into Elysium. Jennifer wore a formfitting black designer dress, tailored to her 5’7” frame. Upon entering the building, she wore a white linen scarf concealing her neck and one shoulder.

At the coat check, Jennifer continues unwinding her scarf. After the pins are pulled out of the outside scarf, she hands it to Lim, who stands beside her. She unwinds a white linen layer that the scarf was pinned to. As she does so, she unveils the deep and gruesome scar on one side of her neck that trails down her collarbone. Something with a monstrous maw seems to have bitten her. The scarves, pins and a long, thin item wrapped in blue linen is checked at the coat check.

She wore two pieces of jewelry that she prized, an emerald ring on her right hand. Jennifer wore a chocolate diamond and white diamond ring on her left hand. Jennifer wore an emerald bracelet on her left wrist. The bracelet has been seen at other times, and Helen would recognize the bracelet as the match to Jennifer's gifts.
Dark brown eyes look over the Kindred drifting in, noting her Grace had not yet arrived. Honestly, the absence of that powerful Beast that prowled out from the Prime Predator like a crashing wave was the clue that she needed. Assured that she was not slighting her betters, her eyes focused on the Kindred who were present.

Verity Carmen was given a nod according to her standing in society. Jennifer's professional expression is set aside as Jennifer briefly smiles to the Daeva.

[Raul]

Raúl arrives to Nox as early as he can manage, which is not too long past true dark. His outfit consists of a three piece suit, tailored for his muscular form. The suit is predominately black in color except for the vest and shirt. The dress shirt is an off-white, almost cream color, cinched at the collar with a black and crimson silk tie. The vest is in the same colors as the tie and looks, from a distance, to have intricate paisley designs until you get close enough and discover that those designs are actually dragons.

He pauses just before stepping down into the Court proper, grabbing the reins tight on his Beast. He steps down and looks around at those that have arrived, giving first Jennifer a proper bow suited to her station. After a moment, he straightens up again and gives a nod of his head to Verity.

[Verity Carmen]

With the arrival of the Seneschal Verity will offer a deep bow of her head to the kindred she respects highly, and catching the momentary smile will offer one in return, purple lips and misty green eyes convey a spark of happiness at the presence of the nosferatu. She will bring the conversation with which ever of the faceless masses she is conversing with to a close and approach. Beyond the general appeal of a better conversation, there was after all something she hoped to get from tonight.

Walking slowly over Verity seems to be getting more confident with her version of formal attire. As she does so eyes play over Jennifer dress appreciating how well the haunt has mastered the skill ''Seneschal Hazleton. Good evening, How are you?'' And the musical tones carry hints of genuine interest in the basic pleasantry. She had come to find she did have some genuine care for the official. ''Your choice of dress is fantastic. You look wonderful.'' A wider smile accompanies the compliment.

When Raul makes his entrance Verity inclines her head as for one of her own station after all to her knowledge he was. She does take in the suit, eyes holding on each detail of it, she might not be reading for secret signs, but she is judging it's worth for his task tonight, after all she had a stake in his success now. ''Raúl, earlier then usual I see.'' Notes of approval are clear in the Mellifluous voice. He's taking this seriously, good. ''How are you this evening?'' Leaving the choice to him how much he wants to divulge for the crowds.

[Jennifer Hazelton]

The Seneschal looks over the two Kindred who have risen above the faceless masses. Her expression is one of lady - like composure. She is quiet for a moment, her mind making associations and assumptions from past experiences.
Noting the Gangrel bowing, she gives a nod of respect to him. It is slightly more deep than one would give to someone of his rank, yet Jennifer approves of those who know how to give appropriate respect. She looks at the Gangrel for a moment longer.
Dark brown eyes now look to Ms. Carmen. She takes a moment, the Daeva's distinctive voice is quite mellifluous.

"Ms. Carmen." The Seneschal acknowledges, her voice slithering like a snake over crumbling, dying leaves. The Nosferatu Curse asserts itself over this gathering of kindred.
"It finds me well. I am appreciating an acknowledgement within my Covenant."

[Neville Godwin]

Neville walks through the open door, his best Indigo suit on with a Silver pocket square and black ruffled shirt underneath. As he walks in he notices the kindred beginning to gather, and feels the pull of his Beast wanting to both lash out, and cower in fear. His eyes catch the Seneschal and the Daeva he had met the prior month, with one other whom he didn't recognize.

Stepping toward the small group he bows deeply to the Nosferatu, "Seneschal Hazelton, a pleasure to meet you again."


He comes up from his bow and greets the Daeva, "Verity, always drawing attention."


And offering his hand to the third, "Greetings, I am Neville."

[Kseniya Volkova]

Kseniya, thankfully, arrived before the time came to close Elysium’s doors, weaving through Nox Populi’s crowd with the help of a guide to reach the back of the club and descend to the meeting place of the Kindred.


Once within, Kseniya moved within the faceless crowd, Kindred milling around the edges of the meeting place that parted at the arrival of the newcomer. Kseniya was dressed formally, but modestly, wearing a dress with sheer long sleeves that she had tastefully accessorized with a vintage, gold bracelet and golden choker. Though barely seen, a pair of matching golden earrings can be seen glimpsed past Kseniya’s short bob of red hair as she looks around at the space with stoic, blue eyes.


As Kseniya’s gaze lands on many of the assembled Kindred, a look of fear crosses her features briefly due to the unnerving effect of the Beast. Thus, the daughter of House Volkov closes her eyes, a hand moving down to clench into a fist at her side as she reigns the Beast within back to its cage and returns to her previous collected expression.


Having steeled herself, the newcomer makes her way to the edge of where the prominent Kindred of Sacramento have gathered, ensuring that she is seen, but not heard.

[Albert Baker]

Once again it was a Formal Court and thus Al made his way to the Nox before the doors closed. After depositing coat and hat at the wardrobe, he spent some time in silent prayer to defeat the urge to turn around and run as fast and far away as his legs could carry him. Then he entered the main room in his usual ensemble of a grey three-piece-suit, which tonight was an ash grey one, combined with the tie of the day (today it was emerald green) and black dress shoes which were very clean and shiny. Then he looked around to see who happened to be already there and walked through the room for the greetings. A bow for the Seneschal, nods for the others.

"Good evening, Lady Seneschal. Ms. Carmen. Mr. Dominguez. Mr. Godwin."

Then he noticed the new arrival and greeted her with a nod.

[Helen Kingsley]

Hell, time flies, it's mandatory fun time yet again. Funny how it feels the last one has just ended, but well, here they are...

As usual Helen has picked up the one dress she owns for the occasion and also brings her necklace and nothing to check in at the door. She does know that taking this moment at the door doesn't really help prepare for whats about to happen, but then, it won't hurt and even Helen has those mopments where she won't let something she knows get in the way of what she does. Still, as she enters, it doesn't take long until she is assaulted by the presence of several older Kindred. Too bad this is one of those things that'll never get better by practice alone ! She powers on with gritted teeth until the grip on her lessens again.

Looking around, there are some familiar faces around already. Verity and Jennifer, of course. Raul and Doc Bakey.

And two faces that also stick out, but who she doesn't know... Hm. One is already talking to Jennifer, the other, well, keeps to herself at the fringe of the group for now. Funny how those things go. As she enters, she curtsies to the Seneshal and gives the other attendances a nod as acknowledgement.

"Good evening, Seneshal. Priscus Baker. Raul, Verity." She obviously leaves out Neville, not wanting to intrude and also for the sake of not calling him 'new guy'. "New faces, I see ?"
