The Nox Populi is an upscale experience that will take Sacramento nightlife to a whole new level.

In the heart of downtown Sacramento there is a place of intrigue, excitement and entertainment. The modern flare of this venue is host to exclusive parties. The seduction of this establishment may take you away as you drink, dance and socialize. There are private services available upon request. The best DJ’s in town are in line to play a wide variety of music. Some of you may dine…as long as you have your VIP pass.

However the Kindred arrive they are discreetly met and led to the back of the club. The space downstairs is decorated in dark, rich woods and expensive furniture. There's a coat room that will also hold one's 'unmentionables'; namely, weapons, at the foot of the stairs. There are also private areas, dark, and furnished with soft couches, as well as meeting rooms with conference tables and chairs, and an area with several televisions. The Court area is decorated with long black and brown silken drapes cascading from floor to ceiling. Draped in elegant bunches and gathered into valances across door frames and between supporting pillars; the lighting is intentionally low, but without the pulse of the music from above, the place has the feel of a sepulchre.

The common area circles the Court proper, and it becomes apparent that this is not decorated for a single evening. Small symbols note areas for Kindred only that branch off of the Commons, which will be necessary once those Kine privileged enough to see behind the Masquerade filter in: ghouls, herd members, or even devotees. The furniture setting is familiar now: a set of elegant chairs, all dark wood and red leather, arranged in a circle. The baroque lighting leaves the corners of the Elysium commons in deep shadow.

With the permanent fixture that the chess table had become, there was yet another new item. A Steinway concert piano, its cover in an upright position, revealing stunning inner strings strings. The lid was closed on the keyboard, the bench not with it.

Another evening; another Danse. For some it will their first, for some it shall be their last. After all, this is the Prince's Elysium, and subject to the Laws of the Domain.

Eternal Court is not a singular event. Always open and in constant motion, a compression of the comings and goings of Kindred within Elysium throughout the nights. As such, Eternal Court is also never truly empty; this can include 'faceless masses' of Kindred beneath notice, ghouls, herd members, devotees, or even officials in their offices.

Verity approaches Nox with her plugs in rather enjoying the irony of She's a rainbow by The Rolling Stones Taking them out as enters the club she focus hard on keeping her beast in check knowing what awaits as she makes her way to Elysia. the sound the sights the life the club provides, what the beast wants to strip away, what she won't let it have. When she it as in hand as she is able Verity enters court.

Today the Daeva is draped in her clan colours in an uncommon deviation from the black of her more casual attire. Red biker boots Back to form it seems, although they still carry a more presentable air then what she tends to prefer. Red rose pattern tights that almost entirely obscure her legs, an important part in the temptation she provides. What at first seems like a Simplistic skirt But the sway and layering of the fabric appeal to her. Held up by a Black leather belt with a golden rose buckle. Moving up Her undershirt is plain and unadorned buy has a fun fringe that shows form under The tailored waistcoat worn over the top. Something else that's old but new A leather jacket covers all but this one has something of a more feminine cut. The usually messy waves of her Auburn hair has been held into some form of order today by a Dark rose hair pin and for accessories Gold hoop rose earrings She trying something because what's the point in learning fashion to not use it.

Her face every pale under the white foundation, makes the purple of her eye shadow and lipstick stand out all the more as misty green eyes sweep the room wondering what interesting developments court will bring tonight.

Neville looks around, verifying that this is the address given to him. Looking at the note he calmly adjusts his black suit and tie, and slips inside.

He looks around at the aura's of those in the bar, noting a variety of human emotions throughout. He makes his way to the backroom, escorted by one of the bouncers, and looks around; he notes the elegant draperies and valences, the chairs and pillars. As he takes in the sight he sees the very distinctive, very attractive Daeva, and fights contain his beast. He fights to overcome his Beast, 'Ones first impression should not be finding another kine in ones mouth.'

He slowly walks in a slips up beside her. "Greetings." He looks her up and down, feeling his beast wanting to reach out and devour her. "I'm Neville, new around here."

The approach of the new guy was unnoticed at first, another average face in the faceless throng of court, aided by the lack of the predator's taint Verity does not turn until he speaks, only then do misty green eyes give him their attention. And court never fails to disappoint.

As she takes his measure a slight grin spreads over purple lips. ''I'll say. So new I haven't heard of you yet.'' Not entirely surprising, but to know nothing of someone meant they must be almost as new as the night was. She turns and gives the black clad kindred the attention deserving of a conversation. ''Verity Carmen.'' Waiting to see how he will choose to address her before stating preferences. ''What brings you to court tonight Neville? You looking for someone? or just on the meet and greet circuit?'' She will wait on the pleasantries. The last new shadow I met, and this one very much has the vibe, was publicly talking about eating people so lets wait and see if this is a pleasure.

Jennifer strides to the coat check, Liam following three steps behind her. A moment is taken to unpin a black silk scarf. Then a second scarf, this one blending into the pale skincolor of Jennifer's flesh, was removed and checked. The fine crystal pins were captured in a metal pin case. A long item in a linen sheathe that hid the exact shape was turned over to the coat check. The Prince and Judex who had been at the meeting of the First estate when gifts were given by the Duchess would recognize the item. Liam unfastened a belt and turned it over, a custom made leather knife sheathe and knife was visible. The Laws obeyed, the Nosferatu collected her ghoul and strode into Elysium proper.
She moved with a lady - like confidence and paused at the entranceway. Her dark brown eyes moved over the Kindred and ghouls that moved around the room. In removing the scarves earlier, she has unveiled the deep and gruesome scar on one side of her neck that trails down her collarbone. A deep bite from some beast with a hideous mouth has bitten and taken flesh from Jennifer’s neck. Jennifer wore a fashionable dress in green floral pattern designed from a dress seen on the 2016 Fall - Winter collection, tailored to her 5'7'' and slim form. Her hair wa elaborately styled into an updo braid, a floral hair piece of opal and tourmaline precious stones is set just right.

Liam wore a tailored suit in black. He wore a white dress shirt, a folded white pocket square with green embroidery that to the eye knowing in Kindred symbols to mark him as a ghoul. Jennifer glanced to Liam and he stepped to wait by the wall by the door.

One of the joys of being in charge, she could attend, or not attend, regular Courts. But she felt like going tonight. And taking it up a notch with her venture into different fashions. But this wasn’t fashion per say as it was her trying something different. Though her arms and legs were covered, it did show a toned midriff was that covered in tattoos.

Gabriel opens the office door and steps out, holding the door open as Cain steps out. All one hundred and twenty-five pounds of supernatural muscle and power. A Rottweiler that was obviously not of this world, a Hell Hound. Finally, the Savage steps out, nodding to Gabriel who closes the office door and steps off to the side. He doesn’t stand with the other Ghouls, he stands near her office door.

As she steps forward, she pauses to observe the room and allow her Beast a moment to adjust. It was always the anger and rage with it as it sensed the weakness from the room and the Kindred that were in it. It whispered in her ear to let it off the leash, to let it pull the skin off the bones and decorate the walls with it. But once again, it was silenced, chain pulled taut as it was put back in its place.

A nod of respect was offered to Jennifer Hazelton , she was Seneschal after all. Then a small nod of Ackwolegement to Verity, who so far was standing the test of time. The new guy was seen, but not acknowledged, that wasn’t her problem or wheelhouse.

Stepping down from where she stood, Cain leading the way, she moves to where she usually sits. It was close enough to hear conversations, but not close enough to be part of them. Cain sat in front of her, his dark eyes filled with hate, looked over the room.

Glancing furtively at the entrance, and at each visible doorway he replies, "I was actually told I should find Judex Jacque, when I made it into town."


Neville watches as the others slip in, he takes note of the number of servants and the furious howl of his Beast from each new Kine entering the space. Though each entered, his attention remained on the female in front of him. He gently slides his hands into his pockets.

Another night, another Court. It was time to see whether there happened to be any new arrivals and perhaps have some conversation like a socially normal being. With that plan in kind Al entered the Nox and left his coat and hat at the wardrobe as usual. After the habitual silent prayer to calm himself and the Beast inside him, he entered the common room, dressed in a grey three-piece-suit (this one being pike grey) with black polished shoes, a purple tie and the lapel pin and amulet which proclaimed his covenant. Beginning the round across the room he greeted those that were there with appropriate nods and bows, while giving the 'dog' that happened to accompany Her Grace a wide berth. He spotted Ms Carmen and someone he hadn't seen before and decided to join them.

Misty green eyes take in the new arrival, each twitch and each flick of his eyes. Nervous, agitated maybe? a lot of new beasts around will do that to you. Judex. Recalling from her own acknowledgement in the domain that only Invictus use their titles when referring to each other. Invictus dressed in black, which means ... wait when did I start reading people clothes for signals? That takes her out of her thoughts quick enough. ''Right. I think you might also want to find Priscus Baker.'' More likely to show up tonight anyway. ''I can let him know your here if you want?'' I have his number after all and far be it from me to be an obstacle.

Before she can follow through on that however the evening kicks into gear. The Seneschals entrance was hard to miss and Verity inclines her head low, she has a lot of respect for this kindred. ''Good evening Seneschal Hazelton.'' The official had not stopped to speak so Verity only offers the greeting for now. Head rising.

As the sound of doors from the the offices gives her just enough time to grab her beast by the metaphorical collar as what is to come has always so far been a close thing to making her flee in terror. She goes into a full bow when the Prince, her ghoul and her hellhound enter. No words as none had been offered and if the Prince wished to speak. It would be made known. But wow, does that top work on her or what.

Straightening as the two of them are joined by a third. And what good timing. ''Priscus Baker, good evening, are well?'' After last court she seems a little more invested in his state of well being, remembering what they had spoken of. ''You have very good timing I was just asking Neville here if I should call you.'' Looks like I might get a show tonight.

Nobody needs their eyes to know when the Alder Prince enters a room. The powerful Beast caused mayhem in Jennifer’s ribcage as Jennifer took a moment to put her Beast back into its’ cage.
"Your Grace." Her Cursed voice, which slithered in the space between them like a serpent slithering upon decaying autumn leaves.

Jennifer bent herself into a low curtsy as the Prince arrived. Noting the distance that the Prince created around herself, the Nosferatu respected it. Conversations with the Prince were always a welcome balm, yet Jennifer knew better than to intrude. The Prince had made her position on surprise approaches very clear.
Jennifer appreciates the outfit that Alessandra was wearing. Never before had Jennifer made note of such a shirt. The Prince wore it well.

Jennifer’s eyes moved over Cain. The impressive Hellhound could not be ignored. It took a moment for the Nosferatu to redirect her attention. Hellhounds were in existence for a reason, and Cain fulfilled his role well.
Jennifer’s eyes move over the room, noting who is present.
Spending decades as a member of the First Estate created certain habits. The Mekhet Priscus received a nod befitting status of someone recognized in the Domain.
“Priscus Baker.” Recent history was in the front of Jennifer’s mind. Her tone was professional and brisk.
"Ms. Carmen." A slight nod that was appropriate to an acknowledged member of the Domain.
The stranger received no greeting. An introduction had not been made.
